Just Shmooze / Chosen Bean K Cups
« on: November 19, 2019, 08:13:28 AM »
Anyone else try the Chosen Bean K cup deal that Dan posted a few weeks ago?
I'm completely hooked, the coffee is amazing. The smell when you open that package is intoxicating, you can quickly tell how fresh they are.
I used to lean heavily on the flavored K cups, which help balance out the quality of the coffee, but I haven't touched those since these arrived.
I have the Mexican and Costa Rica blends, both are great, I like the Mexican better, it is a bit stronger and has notes of chocolate flavor.
Their customer service is great as well, very helpful and responsive.

Are there any other brands of K Cups that deliver a really "freshly brewed" cup of coffee experience, that I need to try?

(Title says it all)
Hi, I'm looking for any leads to sales rep teams or a distributor that works with mall kiosks. The company I work for is looking into a strategy involving mall kiosks but it doesn't make sense for our salespeople to go through them one by one...

Just Shmooze / What to watch on Hulu+

I signed up with the 2 month free trial which is about to end and I did not find anything of interest that I would even consider paying for.
Did I just not search correctly?

Please share your favorite movies and TV shows that are available on Hulu+

I became aware of a mortgage program that I myself cannot take advantage of, but I am helping a friend with it and figured I would post it here for all who dont know about this yet and may be eligible.

For more details and to apply you can call the LRRC 732-942-9292

I am not 100% sure but I believe it is a local program, but it is possible that it is not only Lakewood.

TD Bank is offering a 1st time Homebuyer discounted mortgage (intended to help lower income buyers) which is currently at 2.1% for a 30yr fixed rate mortgage. (This rate keeps changing until closing and I believe it is a 1.5% discount of the regular interest rate- which is currently 3.6%)
Additionally you only have to put down a 5% down payment and there is no PMI necessary. This is huge especially when the house needs to be fixed up, it leaves you with the extra cash in pocket.

To qualify for this loan;
You need to have a credit score above 660
You need to earn LESS than aprox 75k
The total monthly housing costs including Mortgage, Taxes and Insurance cant exceed 33% of your monthly GROSS income
Total monthly payments including the above plus car payments and CC payments cant exceed 38% of your monthly GROSS income
Plus the regular requirements of pay stubs, W2's etc...

An example scenario;
If you earn $50K gross annually you can buy a house worth $250K, put down $12,500 and your monthly mortgage would be $890 (I am assuming tax and insurance at aprox $500/month so total monthly expenses would equal 33% of gross income- ) An alternative to staying below the 33% debt to income ratio would be putting down a bigger down payment.

A side perk is that due to the extremely low interest rate, your monthly payments will right away be for close to or more than 50% principle as opposed to regular rates it can usually take 10-15 years or more for the monthly payment to exceed 50% principle. This way the equity gets built up much quicker.

Please note I have nothing to do with this offering, I am just passing on the info I got and think its an awesome deal to take advantage of if eligible. Any further questions you can call the LRRC directly.
Good luck.

Credit Cards / Amex online credit limit transfer is back
« on: July 09, 2012, 04:26:07 PM »
I dont remember seeing anyone else post this but I just noticed that I am getting the option on the Amex website to shift CL between between credit cards online (in my case I had the option on my Hilton and Starwood personal cards).
This option was available near the bottom of my "recent activity" page on these individual cards.

I tested a $10K credit shift and it was approved and showed instantly.

This option is obviously not available on the charge cards and I didnt see it on my one business card.

(Note, I thought I saw this option a few weeks ago but I wasnt paying attention and didnt verify it at the time. So I dont know when this actually went into effect.)

Selling a full bedroom set including;
2 48" headboards
1 night table
1 Armoir
1 Dresser with large mirror

Asking $2850
Available mid-June
Pickup in Lakewood

Made in Canada by Veneziano. Very minor scratches from regular wear and tear. Overall in great condition. Pics attached. Please PM for more info.

One of the most genius things I have ever seen!

I am helping family members plan a trip to Israel for Pesach 2012. I am looking for hotel program suggestions.

Main criteria is that it needs to be "Chasidishe Shechita and non-gebrokts only". Ideally it should be a "heimishe atmosphere" and geared for "English speaking crowd" as much as possible.
So far I only got one suggestion for the "Le Meridien Dead Sea" with Tour Plus.

Any reviews from personal experience or experiences of others would be great.

I am trying to compile a list of our options.

Thanks for any help!

I love;

“What did one BlackBerry user say to the other BlackBerry user?

Hi guys,

We currently have the flights booked to be in Israel Wed 11/23- Mon 11/28 and would appreciate help with the following;

1) We want to spend the first night up north in Tiveria/surrounding areas, looking for decent hotel suggestions (doesnt need to be luxury but it needs to be decent) and nice place to eat dinner.

2) We plan on staying in J-M from Thursday-Monday, looking for a hotel ideally that we can at least walk one way from the kosel Fri Night, needs to be decent hotel but hopefully not more than $200/nt. (if possible). (walking distance to kiryat belz a plus)

3) What are our options for shabbos meals? are there any restaurants or hotels that have a good hechsher that we can make reservations at? We definitely need for Friday night, maybe Shabbos morning as well.

4) Any restaurants that we "must" eat at during our stay? Looking for nice meat place with good food.

Thanks for any help and tips!
