Are there any issues when someone in another country books a ticket for me or for another person?

I know that there are security measures for award tickets, but my question is for revenue tickets.
Are people requested to show the credit card used for the purchase of the ticket or anything else?

SWA announced today the new fare-based FF program.

Base earnings are 6 points per dollar of fare for Wanna Get Away fares, 10 points per dollar for Anytime fares, and 12 points per dollar for Business Select fares.

Effective November 15th, Starwood clamps down on instant points transfers. Now, it can take up to 5 days to complete the transfer. A special department  will check eligibility for the transfer...

Up In The Air / EL AL to change upgrade/bonus vouchers system

El Al "improves" bonus tickets issuing and upgrades by eliminating the
voucher system effective March 15th. Vouchers active in that date will
be canceled, points/money refunded.
