Has anyone tried out

$40 a month (taxes and fees included) for unlimited voice, text, data and hotspot
It's a Verizion MVNO, but throttled to 5Mbps, video @480p, and has lower priority when the Verizon network is congested

For now it only works with iPhones 6 and above (except for 7plus). Android "coming soon"
Still in "early access" mode, so you need an invite to apply

Seems like it was started by Verizon itself.

Looking to hear someones experiences before jumping in.

Looking for someone to drive a car from Boro Park to Lakewood today (or tomorrow).

It has Android 2.3.7

1) Is the only way to get a newer version is to root and install a custom rom?
