Anyone here ever apply for one? My wife got in the mail a spend 2k/Get $300 offer from them. She has spotless credit. They still denied her because they pulled from some company called Sagestream? Never heard of them.

Credit Cards / Statement close date and pending charges

One of my CC's statement close day is tomorrow 7/4. I put a very large charge today on it. Do pending charges get posted through over the weekend? Or am I going to get unlucky and have my statement cut showing the large purchase?

I've tried SMing and they say they can't help me. I have a $13,000 CL on it, I know the min CL for a Visa Sig is 5k. I'm not sure why they won't let me convert? Is there a number I can call?

I've paid the AF on my plat and the balance to zero, and when I call Membership Rewards they give me some spiel how they can't release bonus points, same for when I try via online chat.

Any ideas?

Up In The Air / AAdvantage combining accounts

I called AAdvantage about merging an AA account that has miles into another AA account that doesn't have miles and they gave me some spiel about it not being possible to merge accounts unless both of them have miles in them.

Has anyone heard of that rule before?

Credit Cards / Converting Bank of America credit cards

So I lived chatted with a BofA agent about converting my Virgin Atlantic card to a Better Balance Rewards card, and they said they can do it, but that I will still be charged the annual fee every year of $90 even after I convert to a No-AF card?

Anyone ever heard that before?

I converted my Freedom card from an MC to a Visa Signature and was wondering if I will lose my credit history on it? Since it has a new number now since it switched from MC to Visa. It's one of my older cards.

They are sitting in a Zync account, and I want to cancel it because of the 90 day rule with Amex so I can apply for a PRG or Plat down the road. Is there any way to save them or use them? I know Zync is kind of useless.

Credit Cards / Citibank transfers to other institutions

I was going to transfer 10k from my Citi checking to fund my new Chase savings account and it's saying I can only transfer 2k daily? What is this garbage? There's no such limits for Chase. Am I missing something?

I really don't want to go down to a Citi branch and have to request a 10k cashier's check.

If I buy something from Costco.com with an Amex card and then go to return the item in a store and I tell them I don't have the Amex card on me, will they write me a check instead? I know they will if you purchased an item from Costco.com using a Visa/MC
