Trump pours the Kool-Aid and he drinks it.

“These kids have got to get back to school,” Parson said in an interview Friday with radio host Marc Cox on KFTK. “They’re at the lowest risk possible. And if they do get COVID-19, which they will — and they will when they go to school — they’re not going to the hospitals. They’re not going to have to sit in doctor’s offices. They’re going to go home and they’re going to get over it.”

Just Shmooze / Why do Trump supporters get so upset?
« on: July 17, 2020, 07:12:30 AM »
For years the D candidate has enjoyed the support of the uneducated vote. That changed in the last election. Exit polls showed that Trump won the uneducated vote by a wide margin. This does not mean that if you vote for Trump you are uneducated as some have tried to say. If you think it does unfortunately you are in the uneducated category.  :)

The D candidate receives the overwhelming support of the minority vote. That does not mean everyone that votes for a D is a minority.

Hopefully this helps the uneducated as the educated already new this.

Either way don't get so upset and just accept a simple fact.

ETA: Some polls now show that Trump is losing ground on the uneducated vote especially among white women.

Credit Cards / How fast do payments get reported to the CRA's?

I paid off a Chase CC for a family member. About an hour later I checked CK to see if they owed on any other CC's. CK already showed the Chase CC balance as zero. Must say I was pretty surprised.

I was at the hardware store yesterday and asked an employee where the pipe joint compound was. He said he couldn't hear me so he took off his mask.  ::)

General Discussion / Are you happy with the block you live on?
« on: June 24, 2020, 07:00:51 PM »
I must say one of the main reasons I don’t move is because of my neighbors. It seems we can get anything done with our combined knowledge.

Yesterday we cut a tree down. It was a 70-foot elm in my neighbor’s yard leaning badly into my yard. My neighbor (not the one with the tree) dropped the tree with one cut in between a 36-inch gate. Only had about a foot clearance from my garage. From start to finish it was less than a hour. This included chopped up for fire wood and all cleanup.

How about your block?
