They are selling the dream of autonomous cars.
...which at that point forces Uber to rely solely on Google for their Waze/Google Maps data/integration.. and Google will gently turn around with their back facing Uber and officially launch Waymo... Itís a checkmate.

When your competitors only path to profitability depends on your proprietary data, you pretty much won the game.

And how about if he can pull it back later...
Agree GC is the tough outlier, how about giving the buyer 7 days to use it up before escrow is released?

I think overall an escrow agent would solve 99% of the fraud here.

Still won't help if buyer sells a fraudulent GC or voucher.
Escrow policy: Seller only gets money released after buyer confirms it not to be fraudulent

Just throwing an idea out there, if somebody wants to become an escrow agent on the forum (endorsed by mods?) gets a cut from seller for each sale, seller benefits by gaining trust for selling through escrow

I really like payapl stock. They are so easy to use, offer an extra layer of security and customer protection. I also see them on more and more websites every day. I can not think of a competitor that has the equal benefits and near equal market penetration.
Itís a great stock, but if you really
can not think of a competitor that has the equal benefits and near equal market penetration
Iíll help you out, that company is Square, and you shouldnít have a position in PayPal before checking them out.. (Iím long SQ since $50 and happen to like them over PYPL)

Care to share your thought process?
The only positive thing it has going for itself is that it has growth potential.. but thatís it, everything else stinks.

Bleeding money / ridiculous P/S valuation / September lockup / Uber IPO incoming

Plus Iím not sure that their duopoly theyíre enjoying with Uber right now will hold up too long, and even if it does hold up and competition dies down, B2C duopoly isnít as flashy as B2B duopoly.

Also, they wonít get the Amazon lose-all-you-want-as-long-as-youíre-growing treatment because itís a (1) taxi business with (2) competition.

Incoming too?
Yep.. it actually happened to me while typing an intense email on my iPad and all of a sudden the screen turned into a full blown iOS incoming call screen.. i wasnít in front of a mirror, but Iím pretty sure that my facial expression at that moment wouldíve become the internets standard ďWTF??Ē meme.. I wasnít as surprised in a long time.. but yes, you can receive incoming calls on your iPad with google voice!

Your point about it being "deeper in the system", and as such more difficult to circumvent, applies to Livigent's smartphone filter or to their PC filter?

Are Livigent based filters considered to be the gold standard (in terms of non-bypassability and/or in terms of identifying inappropriate content) among internet filters for the frum community?

I used gentek up until around the year ago and they DID black out skin color
Its done by toggling a yes/no option, guess it varies by location.

I'm using Meshimer and I have access to most general secular news sites. I have their most lenient available filtering.
Interesting. They didnít offer me that option, even when I requested it.

Do all three of these filtering companies have certain guidelines where they'll refuse to open certain sites even if the customer requests it?
Yes, or else whatís the purpose of the filter.

Do all three use Livigent?

Which other filtering companies (besides those three) use Livigent?
Tag, although they go through Gentech a lot.

Are there differences between PC based Livigent filterting and cellphone based Livigent filtering?
Of course lots of it, in what aspect?

Can anyone please describe the differences, if any, between Meshimer, Gentech and Geder?
Meshimer is the strictest (wonít allow even basic news), Geder is more lenient (allows news) Gentech is even more lenient (allows videos, YouTube etc.).

Also, Meshimer & Geder black out out skin color, Gentech does not.
