The credit posted.
I bought a $25 Sams Club card from samsclub.com, just arrived via UPS (!) today. If I did not have membership, I would have bought from walmart.com.
ETA: Actually, charge is still pending and I did not receive an email that I used the offer, so this does not help you yet. I will have to follow up once the credit posts.

Thanks for the info

How many days do you have to downgrade from the CSR to a no annual fee card like the freedom card-and still get off the full amount of the annual fee?

Spend 25 at superstores and warehouse clubs-get 5 $ back
Did anyone try that for gift card?  Even just a target gift card at target?

April 2 or 1, I suppose.
Do you mean May or do you mean April?

I asked about this last week- but now I clarified my dates.
I opened my CSR end of last april. My first statement closed on like may 20th.
My UR page says that the 300$ travel credit will restart when my statement closes in 05/2019.
What is the earliest possible date I can get my travel credit restarted if I move up my statement closing dates?

Correct, and that's why i signed up to areivim and not a life insurance policy.

Oh yes I am aware of that that you can pay from maaser. I just thought he was saying that anyone who signs up (and receives money from it R"L) is essentially taking tzedka from a tzedaka organization. Which I believe is the wrong outlook -its like a healthshare plan- everyone is paying for this together. And theyre paying for the right to receive the benefits too, should it be nogea R"L.

In Brooklyn it did work for warehouse bonus categories, it did not work for groceries bonus categories, or for Amex extra points.
In Brooklyn they come up as Wholesale Club.

Thnx! I'll let you know what it came up as on my amex in the lakewood sore

It is still more Tzedakah than insurance, I pay roughly $35/month for 1M in coverage.
What do you mean by that? that its tzedakas and not insurance?

And also, areivim isnít a Gmach of any sort. Itís a great thing but not a Gmach. My life insurance is at $22 a month.
Unfortunately, there are people that canít afford that $28 a month. These are the people that would benefit from this Gmach
How much insurance are you getting for 22$ a month?

Not sure if anyone spoke about this yet...    What type of charge does bingo lakewood come up as on the credit card? Is it a regular grocery charge for Amex? and what about for chase?

AF doesn't determine the cardmember anniversary. I believe the account is considered active whenever the card was approved, and your TC will be reset when the prior statement closes. You can always check it manually to see when it resets.
Thanks. Im asking this because I have some travel spending to do a few days before my new cardmember year should be starting. You think if  move the statement close date a few days earlier that will make the TC reset earlier?
Also- I want to downgrade my CSR after I get my travel credit-is that something I shouldnt do-since theyre cracking down on people lately? Or is that fine?
