Tech Talk / Re: Internet Filters

I would like to filter my user account on a Windows server but I can't install a filter on the server as it is shared. What is the best program that I can install just on my user account for a whitelist (I have admin rights)? I access the server over RDP and I have Gentech installed on my local machine so I don't need content filtering on the server, just a few sites open.
Install on your local machine and it'll capture the remote session as well. I personally use it like this.

I am receiving incoming calls with my Obi/GV but for some reason when I pick up the phone I can't hear anything neither can the guy who called me. Any idea what the problem can be?
Power cycle the router and obi

Is there a way for a laptop to access the internet via a SIM card, the same way the Microsoft surface and iPads connect. I am think of adding it to my att unlimited plan for $20 monthly, but the plan is for tablets only looking for a workaround for laptops. Using hotspot is a lot more expensive.
There are laptops with cellular chips built in. Not sure about AT&t but with Verizon I'm nearly certain you can activate it as a tablet.

How do you deposit money in to the account other than depositing cash at ATMs. Can you do regular ACH? Mobile check deposit? If you can, this is huge

In September of 2017, Equifax announced a data breach that exposed the personal information of 147 million people

The FTC is working on a settlement and said consumers should visit for more information, and sign up for FTC email updates at about the settlement.

The settlement is per person so you can also do for your spouse, parents or adult children but you’ll need to sign up with another email address for each individual

Does anyone know how to cancel your Hot mobile service?
I contacted this email to cancel my plan. This was a few years ago so it might have changed.

Newbie to OBI question: I bought an OBI and got a new GV number. When setting up the GV number it asks me where to forward the calls. Do I give my cell phone number and then connect the OBI, and after setup it won't go to my cell phone? I'm just confused about the process. Thanks.
After setup, you can uncheck your cell phone as a forwarding phone and GV will forward calls to your obi.

Thank you. As a newbie in this, I don't know about SP. Im going to try to setup GV with an Obi 200.

If I understood the first post correctly, there wont be caller ID Name unless using the Callcentric option, so that will cost a little more ($30 a year, $1 a month for number and $1.50 for E911, instead of $12 a year for but accomplish the Caller ID Name and the 911.
Is that correct?
You could split it. Use callcentric for CID ($1 a month) and another cheaper service for e911

So this is the cheapest option now, $1 a month plus $1.50 a month for e911?
Also regarding the above numbers it says " New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Illinois."
Does that mean it wont work for other states, or it will work just the number will be for one of those states, which doesnt matter because it is not actively being used?
I don't know about whether it's the cheapest or not, but regarding your last question you are correct that it can be used anywhere. That means the number will have an area code from those states.

Don't think so...

You did chocolate molds in Genesis land?

They gave us trays and molds and we were able to write/draw in the chocolate. There were bottles of chocolate and vanilla bottles so you could make designs. Chocolate was delicious as well, although mine was left in the car and melted all over. From what I remember, little kids could have a great time there.
Responded to wrong post?

And, how was it? ;)
I'm not a "chuchem" but I was there a couple of years ago and it was great!
