I had the same issue with CIP, used my unregistered buisness name, called recon and the rep was able to change the app to my name, no issues

I called them and took your advice. They were willing to change to my name and then I was approved.

Why not just give them what they ask for? What's the big deal?

Because I don't have any of those documents. I sell a few things on ebay, but don't have any official sole proprietorship documents that they want.

I h
You should be using your own name for safety. It seems this has been happening lately, you have to call recon and hope they ignore it. Or if it's the same day reapply with your name.
This isn't your first Chase business card?

I have another Ink and a few AMEX business cards. I applied for it last night and called the reference number this AM when they told me hold up was Patriot Act. Too late to reapply on my own name with my name as the company or call back and ask to alter app?

This is a first. I applied for Ink cash under sole proprietor, and chase held it up under the Patriot Act and said I need to provide proof of business name through IRS records, utility bills or articles of incorporation.  I have never had this happen before. Usually just use a random name as the company name and say I sell things online. Should I just be using my own name as the company name? TYVM.

Has anyone been to the Maya cafe on Isla Mujeres (or the chabad restaurant there) on Friday lunchtime? Their facebook page and the google landing page say they are open until 5 on Fridays, but when I try to call the various numbers listed to confirm, the phone is disconnected. tyvm.

Spending this shabbat in Tel Aviv at the David Intercontinental Hotel. Not really interested in eating all three meals at the hotel. Anyone know if there are any pre-pay shabbat meals nearby, or places to get food (and where may be good to eat- we'll be about ten people).

Someone asked this question a couple years back, but did not see any response.

Thank you!

I am three nights away from Gold status... is it worth getting three local $88 hotel room stays to reach gold status? I used to have Gold through the amex but don't spend the 30K on that one anymore. The Gold SPG got me status matches to Hyatt and HIlton, but those programs don't match back.

+1. Twang is a bit of an understatement. It's full on Persian cuisine.

That's fine. as long they have prepared foods for shabbat and not just raw meat and stuff I'll be ok. thanks!

I will be in Santa Monica for shabbat this weekend. What's the best option to get food to have at the hotel on shabbat? Is it just a uber ride to a take out place on W. Pico Blvd, or is there an option somewhere closer?

Of course I rushed to get the #AmexStaples deal on a couple cards and now cant remember which of my Amexs I used with all the syncing and unsyncing. With the deal dead, how I can figure out which of the Amexs has the deal?

Anybody else having trouble searching for flights with Avios?
I get this:

There was a problem with your request, please try again later.

I just signed on here to ask the same question. I thought I was searching the wrong way. You're trying through  right?

Looking for advice on better use of miles/points. I have two options for a flight from FLL to EWR one costs 12.5K United miles and the other costs 14K Amex points.  Which is a better use of my miles/points? I know the conventional wisdom is not to "pay" for flights directly with Amex points, but instead it's better to transfer them, however, this seemed like a good deal. Any advice? Thanks!

What is a better use of miles/points getting a 12.5K United flight or using 14K Amex points?

@jbwan in your screen shot, was it a full page? i.e. did you include the transfer from SPG?

Yes it didn't say SPG but it said 0 miles from travel.  I send the top of the opening page with he emoji that had my name and info.
