does anyone know (sorry if discussed earlier..) if I used this last year but then had to refund the charges that I got the airline credit for - does amex then claw back the credit?

Might want to keep in mind the following:
Macron's push for sweeping changes to the pension system has unleashed the longest transport strike in France in decades, causing weeks of travel chaos in Paris particularly

thank you - im hoping this clears up, but otherwise I guess well just have to work around it somehow

I'm not sure what your question is, but if you're asking if there's a cheap public bus between ORY and CDG then the answer is yes. Just ask anyone in uniform at the arrival hall and they'll point you in the right direction. The buses accept cc.

sorry wasn't clear- was asking if there is a cheap but easy/fast public route from ORY airport to park hyatt (similar to how the roissebus option from CDG to opera), or if I should take Uber?

Hi

I am planning to be in Paris next week for 3 nights/ 2 days and was hoping some of the chevra here could help with a few questions.

1. I am arriving in ORY in the early evening - is there an equivalent to roissy bus that seems to be a cheap and easy way to get to Php from cdg for ORY as well, or am I best off with Uber?
2. in general for meals, if we want some stuff delivered to hotel, is 123cacher a good way to do that, or is ubereats/some other service preferred?

TIA, hope to have some more questions about activity planning soon as well:)

can someone with experience using ur amex wework membership at the jerusalem location weigh in on if they generally let you bring a guest/ meet someone there who does not have a membership there? what type of space do they give you? I see someone mentioned earlier they were having trouble reserving space - is that still the case? (I have not been to the location, or any wework location, but trying to see if its a good option for meetings, any thoughts appreciated)

Is it the same guy @ nuttha_s ?
This guy bought from me. i think he messed up by repeatedly calling and entire family checking in. Room got canceled and my free night expired the next day and no return or refund issued by the hotel as it is expired. Now this guy wants complete refund and disputes the payment on paypal. I tried compromising  by giving him back $100 and he still wants the entire $170. I never had this problem with anyone before.

yes it was the same guy. i regrettably gave him money back, my night had also expired. did he pay you with paypal "paying a friend" or buying goods?

thank you to those who weighed in. i think the "problematic hotels" is helpful - wish i would've known before and I wouldn't have done it!
anyway, regrettably refunded the money but hoping he does the right thing and at least compromises

I think the key point here is your claim that you didn't receive it. In fact, the cert was yours after you paid. It's terms were clear. If you had bought medicine that didn't heal you or therapy that didn't solve a problem, etc, you also wouldn't have a legitimate claim to get your money back. In my view, this is similar. I understand that you view this differently. I am curious what others think.

As you know, I added your wife's name and CC to reservation as per your request when it was booked. You had copies of the chat with ihg and the email of the reservation. Not sure why you called the hotel again the day before (perhaps your wife should've?) to call attention to the reservation, but either way I am under the impression that this is the risk the buyer takes, not that there's some type of seller guarantee...
I told you I would give your money back, and I have even though I don't believe I was obligated to, but I suggested this be discussed in the forum both as a public service so that we can achieve some greater clarity on the implied understanding of these transactions, and so that perhaps, if there is consensus on what should be done, if it's not "buyer has no risk" you would consider a compromise.

guest was added - they were very adamant that specifically for chase free night, account holder must show... anyone ever have that problem?

moreover, curious what the forum thinks appropriate outcome is in case like this. buyer didnt stay. hotel said they'd redeposit night in the account, but it promptly expired. buyer wants refund. thoughts?
