Are you using the same card to checkout?

Yeah, only one card on account.

New to Doordash, just signed up yesterday using Chase Sapphire Reserve card, and account shows that DashPass is active. However, when I try to add the PIZZA20 code, I get the message: To be eligible for this promotion you must be a DashPass subscriber. Sign up for DashPass, order from an eligible store, and select this code from your wallet to apply".

I dont see where the wallet is. Can someone help me place my first order using the code.

Thanks.

Forgot to mention earlier, but here are the T&C for DD:

Have your direct deposit made to this account within 90 days of account opening. Your direct deposit needs to be an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government. Person to Person payments (such as Chase Quickpay® with Zelle®) are not considered direct deposit.

Has this wording been there earlier also when ACH worked or this is something new? Chase banker told me yesterday that banks have gotten smarter & stricter now as people were missing the DD requirement.

One more question, I can have FSA (aka HSA) reimbursement direct deposited to the bank. Anyone thunks if this will meet DD requirement?

A transfer from an Amex serve account has registered as dd for me

I dont have Serve anymore. Closed the account couple of years ago.

Thanks for the DoC link. I had checked it before posting.

Many CUs will allow you to set up ACH transfers to other accounts. That might satisfy the requirement. (AYLOR about using a CU).

Schwab might also have such an option. I know for sure that Fidelity does.

Many employers will let you split your direct deposit over several accounts. Maybe that could work for you.

I can setup transfer from my CU, just dont know if it will be ACH or what? Any data point if that will meet the requirement? Sorry, I dont know what does AYLOR mean.

Good suggestion about splitting the DD. I will check about it tomorrow.

If there's anything else, please let me know.

Hi!

First of all sorry if it is posted in the wrong group. Mods, please feel free to move.

I got an email from Chase to get $600 bonus by opening a Checking and Savings account after meeting the requirements.

For checking account, here is what the email mentions: For new Chase checking customers:Open a new Chase Total Checking® account1 and set up direct deposit.

I would rather not change direct deposit set up with my employer if there are other ways, I hope someone can point me. I googled but nothing helpful showed up.

I have checking bank accounts with Golden1 CU and BoA, as well as an investment account with Schwab and vanguard (though there is no money in Vanguard).

I have appointment set with Chase tomorrow, so I hope someone can help me quickly.

Thanks.

Credit Cards / Re: Chase Sapphire Reserve
« on: February 11, 2020, 10:45:58 AM »
Thanks for the replies. So, there is no card that will transfer to the airlines unless I have a specific card that allows it?

And why cant I sign up for Sapphire Preferred and get bonus points? It will be 2 years in March when I last opened the card, but less than a year of account closure.

Credit Cards / Re: Chase Sapphire Reserve

New fee will hit me on 4/1/2020, and I dont think that with the new fee, this card is worth for me. I currently have about 160,000 UR points.

I signed up for Reserve in March 18, Sapphire Preferred (March 18), and Ink Preferred in May 18. I closed Sapphire Preferred and Ink Preferred in April 19. I haven't signed for any other card since 2018.

Is there any other card that I can sign up, get some sign-on bonus URs (if possible) and transfer my existing UR to this new card? I understand I will lose out on the better exchange rate if I dont have the Reserve card, but I feel $250 fee (after taking out $300 for travel credit) is too much for what I get out of the card.

Thanks for your help and guidance.

I have a code for $20 Concession Certificate that needs to be activated by visiting www.activaterewards.com/concessions.

Asking for $10 Amazon GC. Please PM if interested.

Code must be activated and used by 12/31/19. Once you click on this link, the page asks for: "Tell us about who will use the Concession Certificate at the theater. We need to know that person's name and email address to generate and send the Concession Certificate to the right place". So, you can generate the certificate in your name.

Here are the terms:

**Concession Certificate is good for any food and/or drink purchase (up to $20 total value) at any participating theater's concession stand in the U.S. Reward code is void if not activated by 12/31/19, and Concession Certificate is void if not used by 12/31/19. If lost or stolen, cannot be replaced. No reproductions will be accepted. No cash value, except as required by law. No change will be provided. Internet access and printer required, and must bring printed Concession Certificate to the participating theater's concession stand to redeem. Not valid with any other offer. One-time use only. Not for resale; void if sold or exchanged. If cost of concessions is more than maximum value of the Concession Certificate, then user must pay the difference. Fandango Loyalty Solutions, LLC is not a sponsor or co-sponsor of this program. The redemption of the reward code is subject to Fandango's Terms and Policies at www.fandango.com/terms-and-policies. Use of the Concession Certificate is subject to the terms and conditions at www.activaterewards.com/concessions/terms.
