When does the DoorDash $60 credit reset on the reserve? I used it last July - the chase rep said it will reset in DoorDash 1 year from date I opened the DoorDash account. Is this true or itís a calendar year?
I would quickly spend before downgrading my reserve to get this card

Past performance is not indicative of future results.

The question was about "parking" money, which would indicate that the intention is temporary in nature and would not tolerate having less than "parked" at the time person is ready to move it to the investment of choice (which at that time might or might not be an index mutual fund).

"The whole market collapsing and not recovering" is a meaningless statement without a timeframe. The Nasdaq collapsed in 2000 and took many years until it recovered. Any person putting $$ into the Nasdaq on 3/9/2000 and wanting to cash out any time before 2015 would have lost money.

And since the question was about parking money while it grows to critical mass, losing that amount (which wouldn't be that large, and even if it were large) wouldn't necessarily mean that said person would "have lots of other things to worry about". As a matter of fact it might even be a counter indication, as said person might be doing so well financially, that they didn't bother to pull out the small amount at risk.

So where would you recommend investing money? You seem to be against life insurance and mutual funds? Or do u just do a little in all?

Our refi (30 yr fixed) just went through 2 weeks ago.
2.5%, but paid an extra $1000 to bring down from 2.625%.

Can I assume you tried nucheinerís place where he got 2.375 and rates have gone up since then? Is 2.5 a good rate now?

In lakewood only showing Burger King

Looking forward to reports of 2nd draw SBA approvals via various lenders :)

I just got my approval from biz2credit!

New post based on updated guidance now available on my site.

I believe I'll be a tad busy over the next few days/weeks. If you have a question that goes unanswered kindly email me at

Does this mean you finalized and partnered with a lender? Can you provide a link?

There is crazy money to be made here for the lenders! More than enough to share a percentage to get the account!
Iím surprised theyíre not advertising even more!!
@cgr Iím waiting for your link...glad to give you the commission;)

There is an email upthread for congressman smith - it is not really a public email and the office was questioning where I got it...whoever posted it should prob remove it.
But the office did claim they would try to help me get my rate changed...just thereís a dif email that was supposed to be used.
They also said that in order for them to help me I had to have already contacted my congressman and/or governor....

I got one today with money for 2 kids on it. When I called to activate it asked for oldest childís bday. (Name on card) so seems there should be one card for multiple children.
Canít answer on the EBT part since I donít get that.

Itís for the kids in school that you are eligible for school lunches- I guess this is from the summer when they didnít get the lunches. They gave this once before (June? July?) for when schools were closed in early COVID.  then it was around 400 per eligible child.

Anyone here has a Cross River contact who I can talk to regarding referrals/commissions? I have a nice customer base and have also partnered with an org/agency similar to mine.
Are you still working on this? I would wait to apply....

And thanks @cgr for the calculator! Your services have been invaluable!!

If I did not apply for an EIDL before because the PPP made more sense it it worthwhile now to apply? If I remember correctly some of the money is a grant not a loan?
