Was just able to extend Ritz 3 free nights for 2nd year in row after a couple HUCA’s. As usual they mentioned this is a “one time exception”...

That’s great. How long were you able to extend them? By calling Ritz Carlton directly I assume - or Chase?

Anyone know if you can have more than one of these at the same time? I got one 1-2 years ago and would like to get the bonus again without cancelling the one I have. What about cancelling it and immediately (wait time?) applying for it again? I'm waaaay over 5/24.

Curious as well. Currently have the Ritz Card and wouldn't mind getting another one. I'm waaaay over 5/24 too .

I know it's possible to churn Chase bonuses in less than 2 years - I just don't know if you need to close out accounts before applying for the same ones again. Anyone know? Feel free to pm me if you're more comfortable that way.

Mine was quick. Day of two after meeting spend even before statement closed.

Amazing! Very excited to see if I can actually get 2 cents per point when redeeming international (one way / round trip) flights.

According to a post on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/5uoky8/a_scientific_controlled_experiment_data_point_of/) it's now hard (impossible?) to get autoapproved for a Bofa card if you already have 4 or more with them. Does this sound true / match your recent experience?


Also, is there any danger in applying for 3 Alaska cards (+1 Merril) on the same 1-2days, other than the apps being flagged as duplicates and therefore having to call recon? I'd like to at least get 1 Merril + 1 Alaska (preferably 2 Alaska), but I don't want to risk anything.

I was about to do a PGGM with a full refundable jb flight, but now I feel a bit apprehensive. Is PGGM, still safe? I'm afraid about the RATS task force. I don't plan on closing the card this year.

So I received a 70k offer (no personal code) in the mail, but I'm way over 5/24. Does this kind of invitation get around the 5/24 rule or are there invites with codes that get around it? Willing to buy a code if anyone has one.

Yes with biz plat on 1/1. But recently with Delta Platinum (any delta purchase to trigger the $100 credit), the upgrade didn't post to my account - the charge just fell off. Been doing pggm for years and that never happened to me. Thought it was a fluke but same thing happened to yuguy. Tried again a couple days ago, still pending, will report back.

Recently applied for the Citi AAdvantage card without the 24 month language. Unfortunately I was denied. Called recon and they told me I had to wait for the denial letter in the mail. The letter says I was denied due to "too many recent inquiries" and "your credit report reflects a lack of recent installment loan information". I don't even know what the last reason means!

Called recona few times after receiving the letter and they tell me the system literally won't let them reconsider me / that this is what they call a "systematic denial" done automatically. They supposedly pulled experian, but I'm not sure how to check if I actually have a hard pull from them. Anyone have experience with these types of denials?

If you used ink preferred cardio pay your phone bill  then you can get the phone covered

I pay my bill with a Wells Fargo card that has cell phone protection. It covers damage and theft. I'm just wondering if my case does indeed count as theft. I definitely view it as theft.
