Thanks, CountValentine!

Still can't believe even today that I was shut down AFTER first calling up Chase and telling agent what exactly I was going to do step by step! Guess the "recorded line" only works if it helps them, not if it helps you! LOL

Does anyone have any idea how long I have to wait to apply for a Chase card after Chase closed all my accounts? 6 months? A year?

Re: They owed YOU money?! Now we know what the issue was.

That's because I overpay on each payment. I don't like owing anyone anything. So if I charge $4,300 I will transfer $5,000 as payment. I previously had transferred $50,000 thinking I would buy $50,000 of gold but then changed mind and only bought $39,000!

My accounts were closed even though Chase owed me money on every account, from $100 to $8,000!

Per Dan - Reason for Closing Account

Using your credit line multiple times in a month
Banks donít love it when you pay off your bill several times in middle of a month just in order to be able to spend beyond what your monthly credit line is.

You would think they would love that as they are making 2-3% on every purchase that you make!

Why can't you pay your personal account from your business checking account? There is nothing at all illegal with it even for tax purposes! Your accountant would and should treat the credit card payment as if there was a distribution to you! None of the credit card expenses would be deducted on your business tax return!

I received a $1,000 United travel voucher for United Flight 85 cancellation after mentioning Israel Mandatory Compensation Law (3,120 Shekalim)

A face pic of yourself? Strange! Sounds like they want to hang your pic up by security and punish you by giving you extra tsa screening for filing a claim!

It wasn't hard to book coach seats on the night. Business was already sold out for the night flight and the next day afternoon flight!

Was rebooked by United automatically.

Since flight was cancelled, they just added a flight on Tuesday afternoon and flew the plane the next day. Saw the same people in business, row in front of me and behind me the next day!

Mechanical, things happen - planes break down like cars

Pilots having logged too many hours - bad budgeting, negligence!

The following was their response:

'm very sorry I disappointed you with my response; it certainly wasn't my intent. I recognize the loyalty you have demonstrated by making United Airlines your airline of choice. I wish to preserve that relationship and apologize if you feel the former compensation received does not address the severity of your inconvenience.

Understandably, compensation cannot compare to the degree of an individualís experience, rather we offer a tangible gesture of our regret. Our intention was to demonstrate we recognized the inconvenience and regret we could not do better to get you to your destination on time. It was never our intention to create more frustration.

Your request for regulatory compensation under Israeli Law compensation has been received.

Due to the nature of your request, I forwarded your case to a special department for handling.  Please allow up to 30 days for review and response.
Also, please verify the date and flight number of the flight you are claiming compensation for.
We appreciate your loyalty as a MileagePlus Premier 1K member and 1,000,000 flier and look forward to welcoming you on board a future United Airlines flight.
