Any legit business could collapse if all investors withdrew their money.

that

you can be 1000% legit, but find it impossible to patch a hole that size overnight

The “swiper” may have a legit business model, however if everyone stops swiping at once it would all collapse.
The exact definition of a ponzi scheme.

yes and no, not if he needs ,20, 30, 50+ days to sell off inventory etc., if a developer is in middle of a project and investor pulls funds overnight and he sinks, does that make it a ponzi?

What kind of investment is this? Your not giving $$$ , you giving cc credit..
Instead of collections they just opened CC's for yesomim?

+1000

Thanks to the link you provided it's a whopping $1 less than regular price  ;D

Invested the $5 and set it up. Working like a charm. It might die out in the future, but at least it's only $5 and he's not promising anything, and the support community seems better than Obi.

Anyone signing up might want to refer to http://support.simonics.com/support/solutions/articles/3000032742-obihai-devices-enabling-proxy-server-redundancy

Also note, don't use ObiTalk.com to configure, log into your Obi device using your local network address (often 192.168.x.x) Make sure to uncheck ObiTalk and Device Default, and enter your simonics.com information for Voice Provider -> SIP, there are a few places where it needs to be entered, and don't forget to reboot the device so that it starts working.

Will try my other GV accounts later on and see how I like it. $5 is a small price to pay to avoid paying ransom!!!

crap i removed call centric to add this and now they want ransom!!!

setup a  Callcentric account for inbound calls only, and configured the Obi to register it on SP2.
issue: my inbound calls only work intermittently.

My setup:  Obi 110

SP1:  GoogleVoice for free outbound

SP2:  Callcentric free DID number, designated as inbound destination number for GoogleVoice.  Inbound calls made to my GV number are directed to SP2's Callcentric DID number.

Incoming calls work sometimes and not others

Call history in GV shows all inbound calls, history in CC portal only shows some of them (the missing calls get sent to GV voicemail).

any advice?

I tried porting my landline to a page plus phone, and this is what I got at the end.

We’re sorry, the device activation failed. Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-550-2436, or contact us via Live Chat.

What to do?

tried calling?

Yup. Many times.

Any ideas What kind of settings would affect incoming calls?
The fact that HOT mobile worked makes it even more interesting
Another issue I had , I was unable to end a call, if other party ended call then call disconnected if not I had to put phone into airplane mode to disconnect/end phone calls

Odd.  I use my HTC one m8 with Golan often.  Never have any problems.
You Sure you had the settings correct?

Tried 2 different Golan sim cards, no go
Hot mobile a worked perfectly
