Okay you gave me a lot to think about can you recommend a tour guide

Yehuda Geberer who is based in Israel but comes to Eastern Europe often to take groups and families etc around is tops in my opinion.

European kashrus politics often makes the nonsense in Israel seem simple.

Best not to make blanket statements until all the proper research is done.

Anyone find that most rentals in Orlando limit the thermostat to 72 degrees and will not go any cooler?

The usual workaround that u can use on most hotel A/C's doesnt work and the management guys tell you that its to prevent overheating (which we know is nonsense).

This becomes am issue for frum families who rent for Pesach, especially on a long afternoon with a full house.

Is this a joke?
The problems in Europe are nearly exclusively from our cousins...

"Rabbi Sarna of NYU wonders at the notion that the first new Jewish community in the Arab world in hundreds of years might be growing just as Jewish communities in Europe and the US are grappling with threat levels unseen in recent decades, what he calls “the unique condition of world Jewry at this moment:”

“For decades following World War II, Jews thought the safest place for Jews to be was in a liberal democracy. And as the security and economic conditions deteriorate, we’ve come to a point when Jews from those countries will feel like they have a brighter future in an Arab country that is safe and economically prosperous, one where they don’t feel like they have to walk behind a bulletproof barrier every time they go to shul.”

What is true, is that Dubai is probably a safer place for a Jew than Brussels or Oslo. But mostly because its a police state and most people wouldn't even imagine there were Jews locally. The government is arguably friendlier as well these days.

This one seems like its possibly cheaper, but no clue about the quality or reliability of the program:

Anyone have a good idea for turning a pergola into a sukkah? Looking for walls specifically that would be nice and breathable.

Size is around 16x20

Supposedly there is a very kosher non-hechshered place to eat in Marrakech.
Search the net, you'll find it.

I spoke to the owners and it really didn't seem "very kosher".

Interesting. I definitely saw it open once, and I haven't been in Natbag since May. It's right next to Chabad IINM?

I was there in mid-May. The furniture there looks like it was purchased at a Soviet era thrift shop in the sale section. Food and drink were pretty much the same as the other lounges IIRC.

I'm looking to take my wife and 9 kids (ranging from 2 to 20) to Sedona for 1 night as part of a bigger trip.

Any suggestions of family type suites that anyone has had experience with and would recommend would be appreciated.

There are some great options there on AirBNB and HomeAway for all budgets.

Add this to the growing list of ways Jetsmarter pads it membership numbers to scam its investors...

so if your meat is spoiled you’ll try out some goyish brand? Sounds interesting that since CY got spoiled let’s try non CY

Never ever have the spoiled issue with the non-CY milk from the same stores so clearly not a store issue.

I prefer to have CY at home (for guests etc) and to give another Yid the business, but I'll only go so far....
