I don't know, but I'm guessing that since neither Jay nor his wife knew his parents' Hebrew names, that he probably didn't tell them to his son.  And I'm guessing that the OP would have asked Jay about a kesuba last week when he asked for his own Hebrew name.
We don't know what frame of mind he was in when he was dying.  Just because he didn't know then doesn't mean he never knew.

To summarize so far, we're looking for Hebrew names of Saul and Rae Goldstein which may be different from the expected שאול ורחל and the wife and son do not know the names.
I'm curious how you know that the son doesn't know.  Was he contacted?  I didn't see mention of him in the OP.  It seems that he was estranged from his father, but he may still know.

3. Call the niftar's first cousins (two daughters of Rae's sister Lee/Leonore) and ask if they know the names, and/or have the kesuba.
To clarify, I meant the kesuba from his own marriage.  If there was one, his wife may have it.

I didn't see anyone mention the son (but I didn't click all the links) that's first mentioned in the obit @Something Fishy posted, as Jordan Gold.  Another mention of him is here, but either he changed his last name or one was just inaccurate:

ETA:  With a little searching, I found out way too much information about the son.  If you think the son has the info, I'd be happy to PM.

ETA2:  The wife might not know the names, but did they have a kesuba she can find?

I would like to create a book and order about 40 copies.  Does anyone have experience with this?  The only publisher I have any experience with is Shutterfly, and they have a "yearbook" bulk option.  Is anyone familiar with this or other options?
I ended up ordering 100 copies of a book I created on Shutterfly.  Mostly positive experience, not perfect.

Hi all,

I'm interested to take my family on a RV trip to national parks this summer somewhere btwn June 30-July 8.  Looking for any and all recommendations in the USA!  We are 4 people and based in Boston but will fly anywhere in US to start trip and aren't looking to drive TOO much...

1) Was thinking of Yellowstone & Teton but seems like campsites already all booked?
2) Is $330/nt make sense from CruiseAmerica (RV sharing sites seem to be all booked except trailers)

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
1) Campgrounds in the national park may be fully booked, but there are usually plenty not far away.  The benefit of a campground outside of the national park is you can usually get full hookups, which is quite rare within.

2) That sounds like way too much.  What route are you choosing to get that price?

Look through trip reports that have the word "motorhome" in them; you can find a ton of info.  I will try to add a wiki to this thread, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Iím sending MM for the Rabbeim & teachers with my kids to school. I had to make special kids-travel-to-school-friendly boxes. No big glass bottles.
What is in MM for a Rebbe that a little kid can carry?

Chareidim up $3/box from last year.

$47 per box whole, which they clearly state has 10 matzahs, not a pound.
$44 per pound box broken.
Didn't buy yet, not sure we will.  Called for prices. $54 whole/$52 broken. Sharp increase from last year.

General Discussion / Re: Rare Coins
« on: February 10, 2021, 10:14:55 PM »
I'm sure many people here have this, so not exactly rare...a dollar coin in a small vinyl pouch that I got from the Rebbe on a Chanukah, probably sometime in the late 80s (it has the date, but I don't remember it offhand).  I have a dollar bill that I got from him as well, but I think a coin was not given often, so relatively rare.
