Cam down it’s not so great lolSame on one account, the other I am in the process of matching back to Wyndham

It actually is great for one who visits AC and Vegas a few times a year..Plenty of comps as well as status match to other casinos as well..its a snowball effect and if you know how to play it right its quite lucrative

Up In The Air / Re: Southwest Companion Pass Master Thread
« on: February 04, 2019, 12:38:15 PM »
Can someone earn 2 companion passes by opening up a Chase Southwest Business Premier card (60k bonus), Chase Ink Cash business card (50k bonus), and Chase Southwest Consumer Premier card (30k bonus plus CP)? I understand that one would expire end of this year, and the other end of next.

Also, is there any grace period for the use of the CP, or they expire at midnight at the end of year?

Thanks!

it would be under the card holders name so having "2" under the same name is pointless

On Feb 1 I matched back my Wyndham Diamond status to total reward status. Total rewards still showing Gold not diamond. Wondering if anyone has tried matching it for a second time and it worked again?

I just received an email from Marriott "Congratulations. You stayed 50 eligible nights this year. Now you can select your 2018 Annual Choice Benefit from these options"
there are only 2 options that interest me the "FIVE ELITE NIGHT CREDIT (Add five Elite Night Credits to your 2018 total)",   and the "FIVE SUITE NIGHT AWARDS. (Receive five Suite Night Awards™ that you can redeem for upgrades to suites and premium rooms)" whats my best pick? and AFAIK the 5 night credit is on 2018 how is that helpful to anyone?

Received the same thing...I think the suite upgrades is the best

this is weird..Just received this email  (did the status match again last week)

We’ve got good news and bad news: Unfortunately, you did not stay enough qualifying nights to keep your DIAMOND level match. However, you’re still a DIAMOND member and can continue earning and redeeming points toward free nights at more than 8,000 Wyndham Rewards Hotels worldwide.*
Plus, as a DIAMOND member, you’ll enjoy exclusive perks** like early check‑in, car rental upgrades, and more.

It also says I must stay 14 night by 1/14/19  .. maybe it expired and now the new match kicked in..odd

On The Road / Re: My credit card number was stolen at hotel
« on: January 16, 2019, 03:08:54 PM »
Definitely a scam. Keep after Marriott for a compensation.

After 3 weeks the manager from the hotel just called..She was quite mad that it took so long for someone from marriott to bring this to her attention..She doesnt even know if the video taps still exist from 3 weeks ago...Anyhow she told me she is depositing 60k marriott points into our account for our troubles..i didnt even ask for anything prob would have asked for our trip to be credited back to us, but i think 60k is fair...I jsut hope they catch the person who stole my cc

In my opinion, you handled it wrong

1 --when you turn your credit card over to a hotel( anyone or place ) - you  put your faith and trust with them that it will be secure

2. when a negative  event happens do not wait  to get proactive

3. someone "STOLE" from you

I would not wait for them to get back to you, call Marriott Rewards NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE  --Demand a free night in points for the aggravation - and the stress this caused you -- and time you wasted! -- you called a few times to Starwoods- Marriott- Amx -- you I assume called the hotel - Dans etc -- you are the Victim - a thief works at the hotel or the staff is incompetent as AS THEY DID  NOT SECURE YOUR CARD!

I THINK I AM MORE UPSET THEN YOU ARE-LOL!

good luck

your 100% right..It was obviously some scam..She took our license and cc and started chatting with us for a good 5 minutes...30 min later she knocks on our door and was like, "whoops forghot to give it back to you"...8 hours later amex fraud calls...Not only that, our last day at the hotel, our flight wasnt till 830pm...we were scared to leave our bags with the front desk si hung around the lobby for a while...I probbaly shouldve confronted them right away but I didnt...Im more upset that Marriott has not addressed this with any concern
