To me, yes, I'll do it for a business class upgrade with miles .

the upgrade isnt to business..the upgrade is from economy plus to premium economy..Is it worth $350 or 35k. per ticket for this upgrade..its not business

I have a flight from TLV to NYC on August. Right now we are sitting in Economy plus. For $333 or 35k points each we can upgrade to Premium (4 tickets)..Is it worth it?

Dispute it once it goes to collection, most of the time the collection agencies can't provide a proof for the service or bills, if they can't provide the proof to the CB it is removed. I once had a bill that I was not aware off that was not covered fully by insurance, went to collection and reported on my CR, I called all 3 CB and said I never received a bill and I have no idea what is this for, the collection agency could not provide any proof, and it was removed .
very interesting

Not firsthand, but +1

Does it hit credit report once collections takes it over? and if you come to a settlement w collections agency does it disappear from credit report?

General Discussion / Does not paying a dr/lab bill hurt credit score
« on: March 13, 2019, 06:45:15 PM »
I feel like I totally got taken for a ride recently. I needed to get  scoped for acid reflux and the dr did this (6 minute) "procedure" off site. Of course no one tells me anything regarding bills accept they are in network. Weeks later I get an EOB that the Dr was paid, the anesthesiologist, but the facility the procedure was done in, did not (due to a deductible). They sent me a bill for $1,000.  I would never have authorized to do the test off site if I would have been aware of this, and if it was done in a hospital setting, where many dr's are affiliated with, I believe it wouldnt have cost extra. I explained to them my frustration and offered to pay a reduce amount, but they wouldnt budge. They said I can only can negotiate once its in collections and next month it will be sent there if i dont pay.  I always have been under the opinion that unpaid medical bills do not go on ones credit score. is this true or not?  thank you!

Cam down it’s not so great lolSame on one account, the other I am in the process of matching back to Wyndham

It actually is great for one who visits AC and Vegas a few times a year..Plenty of comps as well as status match to other casinos as well..its a snowball effect and if you know how to play it right its quite lucrative

Up In The Air / Re: Southwest Companion Pass Master Thread
« on: February 04, 2019, 12:38:15 PM »
Can someone earn 2 companion passes by opening up a Chase Southwest Business Premier card (60k bonus), Chase Ink Cash business card (50k bonus), and Chase Southwest Consumer Premier card (30k bonus plus CP)? I understand that one would expire end of this year, and the other end of next.

Also, is there any grace period for the use of the CP, or they expire at midnight at the end of year?

it would be under the card holders name so having "2" under the same name is pointless

On Feb 1 I matched back my Wyndham Diamond status to total reward status. Total rewards still showing Gold not diamond. Wondering if anyone has tried matching it for a second time and it worked again?

I just received an email from Marriott "Congratulations. You stayed 50 eligible nights this year. Now you can select your 2018 Annual Choice Benefit from these options"
there are only 2 options that interest me the "FIVE ELITE NIGHT CREDIT (Add five Elite Night Credits to your 2018 total)",   and the "FIVE SUITE NIGHT AWARDS. (Receive five Suite Night Awards™ that you can redeem for upgrades to suites and premium rooms)" whats my best pick? and AFAIK the 5 night credit is on 2018 how is that helpful to anyone?

Received the same thing...I think the suite upgrades is the best
