You are starting to approach the price of some of the standard car cheaper lease deals with more hassle.NJ is rolling out a $500 rebate towards the installation and buying the charger. It seems like this was already approved but they don’t have a firm date yet. This info is on the same website as the car rebate.

A level 2 charger can charge the full 260 miles in about 8/9 hours. A level 3 charging station charges it about 100 miles in a half hour. There seems to be a charging station on route 70, right near route 9 in Lakewood.
Additionally, NJ is in the process of releasing a rebate of $500 towards the purchase and installation of car chargers. It’s best to get a 40 Amp charger, and there’s a ‘Muststart’ Charger for $350 on Amazon with many great reviews. As far as installing an upgraded outlet/wiring, I got a quote for $200 from a local electrician, but it may depend on how far your circuit breaker is from the location of your outlet - mine is at the edge of my garage, so the outlet would be very close by. It is also way less expensive than gas.

The dealer just told me that he can only guarantee the price for today since it’s the last day of the month and he would need the person to be by the actual dealership, about an hour from Lakewood. I’ll keep you posted if he changes his mind tomorrow and there are still any left. You need good credit as well even though it’s a one pay

This is an electric car that can go up to 260 miles on a full charge. Only possible with one payment of $6980 for the Bolt LT model or $7590 for the Premier model. You will receive a 5k rebate from the state of NJ within 90 days (current timetable). Total cost is effectively $1980 for 3 years = $55 for the LT model or $2590 for 3 years = $72 a month. There is no tax on Electric cars in NJ.
I am not a broker or dealer, but I’m working with a dealer and taking a cut.
There are only 4 LT models and 2 Premier models available right now.

Can you do it for NY residents, or does it need to be purchased in NYS?
