I received a determination in NJ but no directions to certify, yet.  Do I wait for that?
Try online, it should let you certify.

Use GroupMe.
How is their reliability lately? Can you set it to only allow admins to post?(We don't need weekly discussions as to why shachris is/isn't as 7:00-10:00 am, and why there's no kiddush :)

It seems many of the Verizon MVNO only have 4G service and can't fall back on 3G. US Moblie stated as such and there are reports that Visible is the same.

Anyone have any info on which VZW MVNO does roam on 3G?

With Twitter SMS down, my Shul is looking for another alternate (free) service to send out zmanim and other shul bulletins.

Whats out there?

I don't know but I've heard prominent Baal tzedaka in Miami Beach passed away Friday from covid19 he was 65.
I heard something like he was on a  vent for 5 weeks I dunno.

Just because you don't see these things doesn't mean that it doesn't exist
BDE. So he caught the virus 6-7 weeks ago. Where does that put us TODAY almost 2 months later? All this data and these "new" positives aren't all that relevant if the person had symptoms 5 weeks ago and isn't contagious today. How long is someone contagious for?

Looks like it might be an issue because of the 30 day prior employment requirement.

Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act would cover the first 2 weeks paid regardless of prior employment, but the Emergency and Family Medical Leave Expansion Act which covers the remaining 10 weeks would only kick in after 30 days of employment.
Does the 30 day requirement apply if one was terminated and then was rehired a month later? Does the 30 days start from the rehire date? I found nothing stating otherwise.

Lets get some actual DP.

Can anyone report, and report as well what the process was by customs? (I have a feeling that whomever lands is getting in regularly and they aren't checking much except for telling you to quarantine. This may change if droves of people start landing)

El Al supposedly added flights already from the UK. Are they discriminating against US students??? I guess we do have a hard time quarantining at least according to the media.

BREAKING: They will start allowing existing A2 Students to return. (Not spouses/children A4) This was posted on UK site   (perhaps differs for US citizens)

"A2 existing visa holder only (not A3/A4) will be allowed to enter Israel providing the institution is in operation and the visa holder was in Israel for a minimum period of three months."

I am trying to connect a mounting bar to a previously installed Ceiling Box. But presently the box is off center from the way this chandelier needs the mounting bar to be installed. Can the box be rotated? Is there another solution?

The box is similar to this:  Ceiling Electrical Box with Large Hanger Bar

When certifying a partial unemployment claim in NJ you have to reassert/reopen the claim. Last week, it let me do it, this week it's saying I have an open claim already.

Anyone else encounter this yet?
Were you ever actually required to REOPEN/REASSERT the claim or just to recertify? Try just recertifying as they don't seem to actually require reasserting for PUI despite the FAQs stating so.

For those in Boca Raton, Costco via Instacart has some options for Kosher cheese, meat etc
For Orlando, Winn Dixie via Shipt has some options as well.

For other locales check out Chabad sites for Kosher options and follow up with the delivery services to see if they have those items. If you don't see an item on a site you can usually manually request it.

Stay home, they will notice the yarmulkas and the "howyaknowimjewish" signature baseball caps.

Read the letter again. It may just be the standard notice which is formatted to include appointment info. If no appointment is necessary it will be blank and just serves to confirm that you filed. That's how I understood it, dunno forsure.

No idea but thumbs up for your honesty.
This isn't honesty its incorrect. If your daughter was getting married that day, you are still "ready, willing, or able to work". In short regular circumstances which would have caused you to take a day off, not quit your job, should be ok. A litmus test would be if there exist an industry norm to receive pay for such days. I'm not a lawyer though.

This is like reporting to NJ Family care that you got a $20 tip. Yes the law REQUIRES you to and i'm sure the FBI can use this in the absence of a Mail Fraud charge. But this isn't the intent.
