Why don't you just book their tickets separately from yours?
I might. It just might be part of a larger, complicated itinerary  so it might be easier all together

The stewardess may even ask you on board if the rest of your party is showing up. But who cares.
I know someone who had a similar scenario just shrug them off.

If you are a good drama artist want to really play the game "beg them" to wait for your wife and kids.
I would rather tell them the truth- my wife was sick of being on the plane and I would just pick her up later, after I do what i need to do in phl

It was a hypothetical. They dont have to know that you have a whole party. Just take 1 boarding pass with you.
It doesn't show up on record locater, when they are paging "mochjas party of 5"?

. Otherwise he should stay back as well and then his bags will stay too
could you clarify this? Is this another option, or what would happen in an alternate reality?
will the gate staff give me flak for not showing up with my whole party?

I want to book lax jfk with AA miles. Lax jfk is 12.5 but lax jfk phl is 6k. Can my wife and kids get off in jfk, while I stay in and collect all of our bags in phl?

Looking to do similar but a week later. And for some reason I'm thinking that it's better to fly direct there and stop off in Europe on the way back.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Most flights going east are overnight, you will prob ne tired hitting the ground in Europe, especially with kids
You'll prob be fresher on the way back

Seems like I will probably just cancel and rebook on my own,  figuring out the options. Probably cheaper this way.
Why is it cheaper? You don't pay to be rebooked due to flight cancellation

Do you use real names? Thinking of doing the AU bouns but I'm not sure how to do it without adding real names..
I just added 4-AU's the phone reps disclosure had a new line about me or au downgrading or cancelling avvount within 12 months. Is this new? Never been an issue before...

I'm looking to book a trip to Israel in the summer (around August 11-19) and would like to have a full day in either London or Paris on way there, and fly nonstop on way back. Longest stopover I've found so far is about 5 hours before needing to book as a multi-city. Obviously, I want to pay a roundtrip fare.

Any advice on how to get a nice long stopover on this route?

TIA.
Search on matrix with minconnect
Chase has also given me some nice 12-23 hr stop over opportunities through their UR site
