NY
I guess it's a legitimate ticket but I thought they were getting rid of this? Do your homework, you might be able to get away with it

The other day I got a ticket for having a front bumper protector that encases the plate(Code 74). The entire plate was visible, so I stopped a traffic cop and asked him if its against the law. He showed me a few pictures they recently got and told to ticket for. Most of the pictures were of bike racks or of something big blocking the back. He said they are out there and were told to give out tickets for anything covering the plate.
Where was this in New York or New Jersey?

emergency! finding dates for 1st or 2nd dates isnt too hard but where does one go for a 3rd date?? anywhere indoors like bowling requires masks which will be a killer as you cant see each others reactions and will definitely put a damper on the date. and outdoors isnt an option when its an evening date.
please advise what to do!
iv heard ppl have an "arcade room" in their basement-has anyone done it? it feels a little awkward to be alone in a basement w arcades no? it needs to be louder and w other ppl walking around imo.
please advise!
Where?

What should I do with the ground wire?
Which color (brown or blue) should I connect to the black wire in the ceiling?
what metal components are there to the fixture? One of those nuts connecting the arm should have a ground wire attached to it.

If the box is properly mounted it won't go anywhere, the question is if the holes for the screw will be able to hold 25 lb?
exactly thank you for clarifying

This is the wiring currently in the ceiling.

Does it matter which wire I connect to which?
Also it seems like there's a ground wire which this fixture doesn't seem to have. What do I do with that?

Also the bracket that it comes with can hold it up? I don't think it's too heavy maybe 25 lbs
You're working with a plastic box and a fixture that's not UL listed. The question is if the plastic box could hold the fixture, which if it's actually 25 lb I highly doubt it

Anyone know of a ride to flatbush tonight?

I'm trying to switch the coaxial cables circled in red (it's cable internet). How do I unplug the big connector?

Any safety precautions that I should know of? Should I put on silicone grease when connecting the cables?

The green circle is a wire that looks like a ground wire or something its hooked on to a metal bolt.

I don't know what the blue wire is. Might be a regular telephone line.

It's threaded... righty tighty lefty loosey

You add more lights to the track🤣

I'm redoing my deck and hoping to put lighting in on a built in pergola (ie for a sukkah, but permanent). I would like to put in something like tape LED strips on the underside of each of the pergola beams. Obviously it would have to be waterproof, and be able to be wired into an existing switch that controls an old flood light I'd be replacing. Is this doable for a reasonable price? And if so, any suggestions?
Ther are waterproof tape lights we call them ropes

where are you from? BP is full of it
Flatbush

NYC would love to put them everywhere, but Albany restricts them to school zones. To NYC it's the same camera no matter where it's set up.

And that's why NYC leaves them on even when there's no school. Because they want speed cameras everywhere, all the time.
State law over rules city especially in a state of emergency

You literally are making that up.
If you say that it's not for school safety then why is it restricted to school zones? It should be everywhere!
