I would skip the dead sea. Its a rundown place and the water is too salty... a couple decades ago the water was enjoyable, and the hotels were nice.
I enjoy the north...

I feel like its gonna be chilly there mid-March. No?

Don't think I'll get to it. But in short, they were very proactive with service. Mashgiach said all ingredients are Mehadrin. Very nice breakfast spread. Comparable to the Leonardo Plaza Jerusalem where I was the few days beforehand. Parking on site, no charge. Hotel is on the beach and basically brand new as opposed to the rest of the hotels in Teveria. Beautiful grounds. And the rooms are very nice and modern. I found the rooms comparable to the Ritz Carlton Herzilya. The hotel itself is much smaller, though. Only 60 rooms.

ETA: Here are pics of the breakfast spread, grounds, and view from the grounds:

thank you, this property looks very nice. I just checked and looks like it is completely sold out for my days in march already! :(
any other recommendation by any chance?

Planing trip to israel mid march (mon through sunday), looking to stay mostly in yerushalyim with preferably mehadrin food. and also maybe stay in a warmer area like dead sea for a day or 2 with again mehadrin food option. going as a couple. I would trully appreciate any tips on nice hotels to stay at (specially the ones bookable with points, or through chase/expedia portal).
I would also appreciate any tips on things we  can do there. (looking forward for a nice relax/romantic/spiritual vacation with mehadrin food).

P.s I know about waldorf astoria, but most of the days are sold out to book with points for the time we would like to be there.

Credit Cards / Re: AMEX Reconsideration
« on: October 17, 2019, 05:47:26 PM »
I recently applied for AMEX Hilton Aspire card and got rejected due to "too much debt". I called Amex reconsideration line 3 times and still no luck for approval. I have a great FICO score of over 800 and have been with AMEX for more than 5 years now. The Debt I believe is Student loan. any suggestions or tips would be appreciated/
I have personal and business marriot card blue cash and simply cash with (4 AMEX card)

did anyone used the return protection ? Do I have to return the item and pay the shipping fee myself? do they ask for the item? what was your experience and what type of items you used it for?
I did the purchase protection claim with AMEX but never with Chase sapphire reserve.

Day 1:
we took the boat ride tour around the Mayakoba lagoon at 11, it was beautiful with gorgeous wildlife species and breathtaking nature. The tour took around an hour, we then took another boat ride to the beach area.

The pool at the beachside was in the cold side so we opted for the beach. The sand here is very soft, white and powdery.
The water itself isn’t anything close to the Cancun beaches where the water is
-scenery like- with stunning shades of blue and is super clear. Here its more like natural white and not as clear, but still very relaxing and scenic.

We baked ourselves to perfection - until like 3:00 when it started pouring. We ran into the restaurant on the beach.

Another example how the staff here really goes above an beyond - while sitting in the restaurant/bar waiting for the rain to end, the waiter came over asking if we would like something to eat. We explained that we do kosher - he apologized that they don’t offer any kosher food and left. A few minutes later the head chef comes over to us and insisted that he can make us something with vegetables, fish or what ever else we can eat and will do whatever it takes to keep it “kosher”. Since I’m a sucker for raw fish/sushi, I grabbed his offer. He was more than happy to use new utensils and let us watch how made us a Yumi plate of tuna mixed with avocado and other lessor known veggies with a Yummi dressing he made on the spot made out of spices he chopped right off a fresh plant. As no surprise, It was mouthwatering and delicious - a real treat.

For the rest of the day we just hung around the property exploring the beautiful grounds biked around the property and enjoyed the fresh air this place offers.

For dinner we went to Hotel 770. The menu has changed from the last time we were here (for the worse). We ordered a burger sandwich and a ribeye steak. The burger was good but the sandwich was dry with NO dressing in it, the burger itself was tasty. The Ribeye was a big steak but it was almost not edible because the meat was very rough and tender. (In their defense - I should of known better, Mexican meat is known for being poor quality in general).

Will update if I have anything to add. In the meantime my friends on the east coast stay warm..😊.

Hey
Anymore updates? day2,3,4?!! I like your nice detailed report.
