Not sure how into this topic you are, but if you want to read up on all the details of historical figures that were involved in the process of making a golem, and the multiple diff methods known involved in the process, what the safer yetzirah says about it, chacham tzvi, vilna gaon, shla"h, Rokeach aka R' Elazar m'vermeiza...the chasidei ashkenaz were well versed in this subject and in kabbala maasis in general, for an amazing book on this topic, see Moshe Idel's book "golem"...you won't regret it.

We've been through quite a lot since this was posted, but since I just came across an essay that was just published explaining concepts and understandings of Tzimtzum, I thought it would be worthy to post as a response to this (and might also respond to some other posts in various threads, just search DDF for Tzimtzum)

Are there any other states that have simply refused to release backpay on elligible claims?
Has NJ released any statement explaining why 6 months later and we still have not received the backpay??
Why is everyone just accepting this like it's okay??

Does it just take a few weeks from when u call rep and they say "we are escalating your claim blah blah blah"?
Is everyone still waiting for it? Does it just take a month or two from when you make the request?
Are people that got approved in April/May/June also still waiting for that backpay??

« on: August 07, 2020, 07:04:47 PM »Don't hold your breath, I know several ppl who were told that a lot more than 10 days agoIt's strange. In NY you can either speak to a rep and have them certify all back pay weeks or you can do it yourself online after certifying the first weeks benefits, but im helping someone from NJ who's is trying to receive his backpay and no option at all online and after calling and receiving callbacks 2 diff reps stated "we are escalating your claim and you should receive a response within a week or two" as if it's questionable whether or not he's elligible for backpay!! But NYs website clearly stated "don't worry if you're having a hard time filing, all claims will be backdated to the date of unemployment" so what's this business with NJ giving ppl issues with backdating their claim?!?
They made it sound as if he was now filing an additional claim to have his thing backdated when the initial application clearly had his date of unemployment listed as early April so if his claim was approved how can they not have to immediately give options to certify for all previous weeks??
Can anyone clarify what the steps were for them to certify for backpay weeks in NJ and whether or not they were successful, as he has already certified the last 3 weeks of benefits but no word yet on all the weeks from April to July 12th.
Any and all details are greatly appreciated!

Nobody is denying the talent of Red/Dembe etc, that's the reason it's such a good show, which makes it all the more disappointing that the producers are dragging it out, watching amazing acting is great for a few seasons, but when it's almost 8 years and they are still basing the central theme and mystery around Red's relationship to Liz it sort of kills the show, cuz at this point, anything less then a mind boggling revealing twist about who Red is will simply be considered disappointing, some Twin theory or Dad etc won't cut it...It just really better live up to the hype, and hopefully somewhat rationalize it's lengthy developing plot, but anything less than an over the top finish in regards to Reds reveal will be immensely frustrating, so the pressure is on and I really hope it does finish in a great twist.

However, I watch the show purely for entertainment purposes.
Every episode has action or suspense, no matter if it adds to the story line.
And may I add, who doesn't love Raymond's character?!
I appreciate every minute of the show - whether or not they seem to be dragging the show on.
(I was convinced for many years that the reveal would be the Redarina conspiracy, that Red is Katarina who underwent a surgical transformation, and is Liz's biological mother, which by all likelihood is not true, but it would have to be a revelation on that caliber, as to what that may be, I have no clue.)

I disagree. I'm a massive fan of the show, and have been watching it since the very first episode, unfortunately it's getting out of hand, the amount of time these producers chose to continue delaying wrapping up the show is sad, what could have been possibly my all time favorite show has almost become boring to watch. This should have been a 5 season max 6 season show. But to stretch it out to 8 seasons is just greedy. Half of this 7th season if not more, were entirely random episodes of blacklisters, completely unrelated to the bigger picture of who red is and were of no help to solve the bigger picture.
They are dragging it out and it's ruining a great show.
As far as the numbers go, they have not been reusing numbers, but the numbers are just random case file numbers and are of zero significance in labeling how important that blacklister is, that has been obvious for many seasons already.

For example you can ask the officer how long he saw you holding your phone and if all the evidence points to your story adding up you can win. You can also request the officers dash cam footage to bolster your claim.So can you clarify the following, I am no legal scholar, but just from a logical standpoint, if what you`re saying is correct, then it turns out there are legal uses of a cellphone while driving and illegal uses of a cellphone, if so, it should not be enough for an officer to give you a ticket merely by observing you holding the device, rather he would have to give you a ticket claiming you were specifically engaging in an illegal use of the cellphone. As an example, a cop cannot give you a summons for smoking marijuana merely by observing you smoke a cigarette and then make you have to prove it was just tobacco, rather the summons is only given when the cop is stating that he specifically observed you smoking marijuana.
Does this argument not seem valid, if indeed you are allowed to use your cellphone for certain things?

So practically speaking, does an officer need to prove that you were using it for something other than speed-dialing, or does the driver need to prove in court that he was indeed only speed-dialing, and is there really any way to prove it other than having a video of the entire interior of the car that can clearly show the exact cellphone activity, and if there is no way, then what is the point of it considering you will get ticket regardless and nothing you could do about it?
