Yes (though I wouldn't say "of his time"). Not super into the topic, although there's aCare to share the link? Thanks!
somewhat interesting discussion happening on BoardGameGeek about how to make
a game about kabbalists making golems with the cultural sensitivity expected in 2020.
No sign of a golem was found when an Israeli film crew entered the attic of the Altneuschul in 2014.Are you aware that the whole golem association thing with the shul and the Maharal are just a myth? Created by some jewish and non jewish fiction writers of his time?
https://derher.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Tzimtzum-Article-Av-5780.pdfWow I barely remember posting this, surprised you did!
We've been through quite a lot since this was posted, but since I just came across an essay that was just published explaining concepts and understandings of Tzimtzum, I thought it would be worthy to post as a response to this (and might also respond to some other posts in various threads, just search DDF for Tzimtzum)
In case the link gets taken down, I've cleaned up the PDF a little so it could be small enough to add as an attachment, and it is hereby attached. I hope I didn't delete anything.
I don't know of anyone who has received it.
Don't hold your breath, I know several ppl who were told that a lot more than 10 days agoIt's strange. In NY you can either speak to a rep and have them certify all back pay weeks or you can do it yourself online after certifying the first weeks benefits, but im helping someone from NJ who's is trying to receive his backpay and no option at all online and after calling and receiving callbacks 2 diff reps stated "we are escalating your claim and you should receive a response within a week or two" as if it's questionable whether or not he's elligible for backpay!! But NYs website clearly stated "don't worry if you're having a hard time filing, all claims will be backdated to the date of unemployment" so what's this business with NJ giving ppl issues with backdating their claim?!?
Absolutely! Nobody is denying the talent of Red/Dembe etc, that's the reason it's such a good show, which makes it all the more disappointing that the producers are dragging it out, watching amazing acting is great for a few seasons, but when it's almost 8 years and they are still basing the central theme and mystery around Red's relationship to Liz it sort of kills the show, cuz at this point, anything less then a mind boggling revealing twist about who Red is will simply be considered disappointing, some Twin theory or Dad etc won't cut it...It just really better live up to the hype, and hopefully somewhat rationalize it's lengthy developing plot, but anything less than an over the top finish in regards to Reds reveal will be immensely frustrating, so the pressure is on and I really hope it does finish in a great twist.
You have a great point.
However, I watch the show purely for entertainment purposes.
Every episode has action or suspense, no matter if it adds to the story line.
And may I add, who doesn't love Raymond's character?!
I appreciate every minute of the show - whether or not they seem to be dragging the show on.
Machlokos...It may depend on what kind of Amen you are saying, if you are trying to be yotzei someone elses bracha I think you would not be allowed too, if you are just saying Amen from hearing someone elses bracha then I think it would depend on what kind of Mikvah you`re at, if the showers and changing area and mikvah are all in the same "room/section" then most shitos would say you can`t since it`s a bais hamerchatz if it Mikvah is set up in separate compartments, water, changing area, showers, and you are standing in an emty changing area most shitos would say you may answer Amen.
ר' יהושע בן לוי אומר אפילו מחיצה של ברזל
One has to answer to the brochos and participate, gemarah in pesachim daf pey daled or pey hay, IIRC.
And then the other opinion is what we hold, the halacha is one is not mechyuv to answer when he's in a different room, that's the pesak in Shulchun Aruch. CMIIW.
That whole shailah is depended on what you consider the mikva room?
Is it like a beis hamerchatz or not.
If it is like a B"H then you wouldn't be able to make a bracha, or answer a bracha as well you would need to wash your hands outside.
Or if you hold like those who say a mikvah is not like a B"H then you can wash your hands inside the room and answer a bracha inside the room if you hear a bracha.
Figured we were in 24 and they were going to go after the water too.Still reminiscing over 24? Guess Designated Survivor just didn't do it for you, lol...You`re not alone.
Coming into court and saying that alone may not work, but it would definitely help you poke some holes in the officers story. For example you can ask the officer how long he saw you holding your phone and if all the evidence points to your story adding up you can win. You can also request the officers dash cam footage to bolster your claim. So can you clarify the following, I am no legal scholar, but just from a logical standpoint, if what you`re saying is correct, then it turns out there are legal uses of a cellphone while driving and illegal uses of a cellphone, if so, it should not be enough for an officer to give you a ticket merely by observing you holding the device, rather he would have to give you a ticket claiming you were specifically engaging in an illegal use of the cellphone. As an example, a cop cannot give you a summons for smoking marijuana merely by observing you smoke a cigarette and then make you have to prove it was just tobacco, rather the summons is only given when the cop is stating that he specifically observed you smoking marijuana.
