We got denied for EIDL, due to entering the wrong "nature of business" in the application. We appealed the decision. Anyone know how long it takes, I get vague answers when I call. I have info/ documents to back it up, but it seems theres noone to talk to. Its been over a month..

i see that they ask if u received help for rent elsewhere.  my company received ppp but we spent more than 100% on payroll so we can submit for forgiveness either way. is it better to write that you did or did not receive other assistance?

I was once the 2800th person and waited about 45 minutes

i got thru. seems they approved and then denied my loan at the last second. should i try and appeal?!

Finally got approval for 150k on EIDL loan, after months of back and forth. I  entered all bank information and everything, and today I see that the loan wasnt approved. How can this be? I literally signed all the forms. Is there any number to call .

been trying to certify since early july, it came back with an error since I applied in April but ending up receiving backpay in May from a PPP grant to the company. I spoke with a rep 2x already in the last month explaining the situation but I didnt receive anything. I am not even certain if I can receive since April or May? The rep said backpay isnt counted?
What should I do ? Just sit and wait?

They all jumped to get approved but most have no interest in actually participating and issuing loans.

i reached out to a few. the paperwork they require for 5% stake is ridiculous

Regular loan underwriting based on all their loans or regular loan underwriting based on a particular customers situation? I mean let's face it- if you have a good relationship with a banker and you're earning him a few $, they can really cut corners and push things through. I've seen it with loans where they're on the hook for a lot more than 5%...

any recommendations of which lender to apply with?

I think the details are pretty much out.
Just bear in mind that the requirements are a bit more like PPP than EIDL.

-Businesses in certain financial sectors such as lenders, banks, and life insurance companies are ineligible
-Passive businesses owned by developers and landlords are ineligible

so u suggest applying already?
