Anyone done the "Dig for a day?"
Would a 5 and 7 year old enjoy?

I did it 2 years ago with a 7 and 5 year old. It really depends on your kids....

My kids enjoyed it. It is a real hands on experience and activity. If your kids like to get down and dirty a bit, they can enjoy. There is an optional part at the end of doing spelunking. Somehow my 5 year old convinced me that she wanted to go. Definitely not for the faint of heart with a 5 year old.
Once inside, there is no going back. It was quite interesting and quite an experience to do this with a 5 year old! I spent most of that time just hoping we didn't die in there :-)

For adults and older kids there is also the historical fascination of it.

Any opinions here on Structured Notes?

Costco has a 27 Piece set for $14.99  in store... Think it is best deal out there... They have a pack of 4 of these online for a bit more. But still very solid deal...

Hi - Flying EWR-TLV with UA in Business Polaris in a couple of days. Anyone have experience with bringing 2 carry-ons? I am only going for a few days, but would need to bring 2 carry-ons to avoid checking luggage. Are they more flexible with business class with regards to carry-ons or will they make us check in our second bags. Thanks

Was wondering... Have 4 hour stop in 2 weeks in ZRH from TLV. Is it too risky to leave the airport? And if you would leave, where would you go for a short visit? Thanks

Are your cards in the same login? You're trying to transfer to your UA account? (same UA account as the AH on the chase account?) Have you ever transfered to this UA account in the past?

I may have transferred from another chase account into this account several years ago from an account that has the same last name ( my fatherís account). You think this is the issue? Thanks.

I may have sold down the line with my Ink, but definitely not with my Reserve. I had just connected the card to my account recently and this would be the first transfer.

Credit Cards / Chase UR to United Miles Transfer Issues

Hi -

Was wondering if anyone has experience with transfer issues. Everything is a match ( name on both accounts) and got an error message. Contacted Chase multiple times and they can't seem to figure out why there is an issue. Tried different variations of the name and no luck. Spoke to United, and the name is correct on their end.

I even tried switching the transfer from the Reserve Card to one of my Ink cards, and still doesn't go.

Chase has sent it to their department that handles these issues, but it can take up to 7 business days to get an answer. I don't want to lose the booking that I am eyeing. Any experience with something like this? I have spoken to a few supervisors who say that there is nothing more they can do for a technical issue like this...

Any ideas?

Hi - Was wondering if a Plan B can only be booked if it is on a Saver Award for Economy? A flight I am looking at for NYC-TLV is at 70K for economy ( a little less than the full amount) but still less than Saver Business. Anyone have experience with that?

Thanks in advance...

Anyone have 8/24-8/26?

I have been there several times over winter break over the last 10 years. Each time stayed somewhere else. There are so many options for minyanim. Hotels and houses during winter break...

Champions Gate and Reunion almost always have a minyan. I stayed in Champions Gate and there must have been close to 150 men between the 2 minyanim that I was aware of...

There is also Vistana Resort, if you want more of a hotel, that someone arranges every year for a sefer torah.

Plus Chabad and Orlando Torah... Plenty of options.

Not sure if this was brought up, as  I have been casually following this thread... I met with my accountant today and if you normally pay estimated state taxes for 2017 after the year is over, you should pay it before 12/31 this year. Even though it is for tax year 2017, the deduction goes on when it is received. Paying now can save you some money
