Tech Talk / Re: Port Number but Keep Line
« on: November 17, 2013, 06:27:19 PM »
I've never heard of such a thing, but why not PUTPAC?
Just trying to find out if there is anything specific to say because in my experience Sprint's Reps have not been the most helpful or knowledgeable  :)
Thanks

Tech Talk / Port Number but Keep Line
« on: November 17, 2013, 03:18:12 PM »
Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to port a phone number to a new carrier, but keep the line (get a new number)?
I'm switching to Verizon, but want to keep my Free and Clear plan active on Sprint.

Thanks

It seems like its very YMMV. I'm wondering if I should try that or just calling and saying how my service is terrible, and I can't have a normal phone conversation (which is true). Would I have any chance of them letting out because of that?

What's the fees if u drop in middle the 2yr contract?
I think it depends on if you have a smartphone or regular phone, and number of lines.

Here is a link with the contract changes highlighted http://www.diffchecker.com/ffc4zgda
Anyone have experience with this?

Tech Talk / New Sprint T&C Change? Cancel without ETF?

It seems like Sprint has changed their Terms and Conditions again (according to SD - I did not get my bill yet).
Anyone have experience canceling service without paying the Early Termination Fee? How can I still keep my number? Thanks

I actually spoke to a Hertz agent yesterday regarding a reservation, and he told me that rates change at noon. Not always is there a difference but if it changes in middle of the day noon will be the cutoff point.

Do you remember what it was called? Or how you found it?

Do you have to be staying the Sheraton to park there? Any idea how far it is from the airport? I will be in a rush to catch my flight. Thanks

Do they not ask you for ID by check in? Would I call the hotel and say that someone else is checking in?

Has anyone had any luck booking any random cheap night, and not showing up, counting as the paid stay?
