The problem is I am confused on which book to get. There are Muslims at my work that claim the Quran is G-d's word. They even claim since its inception not one word has ever changed in any Quran ever published. I was astounded by that until I found out there was a war fought over the Quran to get rid of the different versions. I am a little skeptical when anyone claims their book was written by G-d.
There is no other religion claiming that g-d gave them his book, in front of 600,000 people except for Judaism.

Btw as Of what I heard the Satmar rebbes are crying for every Jew that gets killed, even for IDF Soldiers.

Leading a strong section of Chassidic books was a complete early edition of Elimelech of Lizhensk’s No’am Elimelech, Slavuta, 1794, which realized $30,000, selling over its pre-auction estimate of $20,000-25,000.

Headlining the book section of the sale was a rare edition of the text that gave rise to Chassidism: Ya’akov Yoseph of Polonoye’s Toldoth Ya’akov Yoseph, Koretz, 1780, which achieved $29,000.

In brooklyn it works for Williamsburg, not BP.
Also not for the entire Williamsburg neighborhood, only for 11211 not 11249.

How does it work? As long as you give it back on time you won't be charged?
You have to enter your credit card info to take a bike, and as long you bring it back in the half hour they won't charge it.

The definition of Chilul Hashem is, when the world see that we are not following the Torah. If by following the Torah we do some awkward thing, then it's not called Chilul Hashem.

AFAIK, this has nothing to do with sefirah, it's rather a special inyan al pee (no pun intended) kabalah to cut the hair on erev shvuos.
It's al pee האר״י.
I saw a nice pshat, it's cause the days between Pesach and Shvous are chol hamoed like the Ramban write in his commentary on the Torah, And in Chol Hmoad we don't make haircuts. But Erevan Shvuos we do make a haircut שלא יכנס לרגל כשהוא מנוול.

Everybody here is quoting a phrase "nishtakech torsas habal Shem", satmer ruv never said that, he said "nishtakech 'derech' habal shem" and there is a huge difference in definition between those 2.
