For every study there's another study showing the opposite.+1
It's like that in all sciences, climate, economics and all others. Each side spins for their side.
For you not to care about the fact, that literally hundreds of thousands of frumme yidden will be losing a lot of money. And many of them are genuinely poor. Because of some study and economics sevara you just read about. Shows me you don't care enough. Sorry, that's what I believe to be true.
Are you an Economist? Do you realize there are Nobel winning economists who laugh out loud when they hear about all this trickle down economics theory.
I'm not saying I know which side's right.
All I'm saying is that I'm not willing to risk my brethren as tests if this theories are true.
"Ven s'es tut vey, shrayt men"
BTW, I will not lose a penny if the proposal is approved. I just care about poor yidden.
No. I am suggesting that it not be taken as anti large family when in truth it isn't.What's your point, the point the op was making is still correct why should he respond to you?
Just because something is bad for you, doesn't mean they are anti you.
You have yet to respond to the long post I wrote up thread pointing out how it's an economic ideology that happens to not help, and yes, maybe even hurt, large families for the good of the economy and country as a whole. Are you actually recommending that if a policy is good for the country according to their ideology and bad for the frum community we shouldn't lobby to stop it ?
Do you not have a response?
a good amount of these families might not even qualify for food stamps if they didn't get paid under the table. To each their own. I'm no fan of the government taking my hard earned money, but it's a 2 way street. To speak loshon hora on a rabbim is a serious issur I don't envy you.
