Not sure how practical a bus is with 3 kids. Deserted beaches sounds nice, but man are rental cars expensive. Probably not worth it just for that.
Also keep in mind they are driving on the opposite side of the road as the U.K.  so I wouldnít take the risk

Iím going to Silara next week 12/16-12-19

Unfortunately Ziva was booked solid, couldntbredeem points at all! So we had to grab the last room in Zilara.... but Iím concerned. Everyone seems to be praising Ziva to the sky First of all because of how nice and new it is (as opposed to Zilara which is moreĒdatedĒ),but mainly BC of the proximity to kosher food. How far is Zilara actually to food? Can it be walked? Iím just hoping I didnít settle for something I really wonít enjoy!
Itís a 5 minute drive by car
Chabad will deliver food to your hotel seamlessly
Property of the zilara is very nice donít worry

I'd try one of the larger supermarkets (Refresh, Landau's).
all groceries have and they deliver, but you still need to make sure with the hall that they will receive it

Are there any hotels near a shul in Chicago where I could stay for shabbos? During the week I'm staying near the convention center and I would like to be able to walk to a shul on shabbos. Thanks!
Double tree Skokie should be. You might be lucky and even have minyan at the hotel.

Does anyone have any knowledge of hotels in Arenal? So far I have only seen mention of people staying at Nayara. Is that my best option?
I did the Royal Corin. Was decent.

Kia Forte or Hyundai Elantra will be the cheapest this month but for $5 more per month you could have the Kia Optima full size car.

Will be going this week jfk-ist. Ist-bud. I have an 1 1/2 hour overlay.  The issue is the last 2 weeks TK12 is delayed almost every day. Since the arriving and departure are the same terminal. How much time do I really need? Anyone with recent experience

you are almost right, because waze does take you in to some neighborhoods that are a bit scary (my personal experience), so i would tell you to plan your drive before and check out what way waze gives you and make sure it's safe

I'm going to Nobo for the first time this week.... I know that several of the menu items are peoples favorites here on Dansdeals.

1.  Is there anything on the menu that is "nothing special"?  I want to make sure to avoid such an item for the first visit.
2.  Are the lamb riblets significantly better than the other appetizers?  I really enjoy sausage & peppers but if the riblets are really that good...
3.  Are the steaks anything close to Mike's Bistro?  The prices are not so much less.  Looking at the 20oz rib eye...

Thanks.
Lamb riblets and gnocchi are on top of my list, the short ribs are amazing, After all he worked at Mikes ;)
