they will lose sky priority but you can show up by the gate as one party and they will allow you to board together, and when checking in they will wave for the other passengers the baggage fees,
Thanks. Doing it now

you split the PNR its not a big deal, Ive done it many times
Do you know if I split it, (and link them) if my kids will still have the sky priority boarding and check-in? What about baggage?
It's me and 2 minors, I would like to go with them through expedited security and boarding.
Thanks

Direct quote from Delta this morning:

No, you cannot upgrade now or even at the gate,  the complimentary upgrades are not eligible for reservations with more than 2 passengers, you have three. The only way to get on the list would be to separate the reservation and take your kids off. Sorry.

I am pretty sure that #1 above is not correct. You do need your companion to be a skymiles member (just make an account online) to be eligible for upgrade and you should be able to request an upgrade for (only) one companion. If companion is on a different PNR, call delta to link the reservation and companion will be able to get upgraded.
Tried it twice on two different occasions.

Three pros of Mosaic over medallion...

Upgrades not allowed (even if you want just for yourself) when more than 2 on reservation.

JFK and LGA are not considered the same, so no changes.

No free Wi-Fi.

Banyan Tree will hold your food for you when its delivered. They will heat it up for you when you tell them you are ready and will bring it to your villa when heated...
True. Very accommodating.

So if I don't rent a car,  how would I go from Banyan Tree Mayakoba to Playa Del Carmen to dine in somewhere?  Taxis I heard aren't too safe either....?
PM me. I'll give you a reliable taxi

Can anyone recommend a safe airport transfer company for a family of 5 from CUN to the hotel zone (round trip)? How long in advance does that need to be booked?

Up In The Air / Re: Massive JetBlue Mosaic Devaluation
« on: December 03, 2020, 02:44:20 PM »
Just a random thought that popped into my head today.
After one of amazing Mint flights, I sent an email to customer service complimenting the wonderful service (I try not to be one of those who only email in complaints) and then suggested that they offer some sort of upgrades for Mosaics.
Even if not complimentary, then at least for points (like for the EMS seats).
The reply I got was that, yes many people have asking etc
So, I wonder if they raised the price for these seats because they will be rolling our upgrades with points to Mint and needed to make it more aligned now or something like that?
Just my מחשבות זרות today during davening  :-[
That would be amazing. But since the seats are available to purchase with points, upgrading with points probably won't be worth it.
