Up In The Air / Re: Airline Compensation Master Thread
« on: August 21, 2019, 01:07:25 AM »
Same thing happened to me tonight on southwest.  They had us switch flights bc my first leg got delayed.  First available flight is tomorrow. They told me I could wait for my bags.  I sent my wife and kids back to my in laws and my son and I waited for our luggage.  After around two hours they said it got routed to LA.  No clothes.  Also frozen meat.  I booked with miles and Southwest priority card. But they said that I can't file for delayed baggage bc the baggage is not delayed.  We were delayed.  It's maddening. Do I have any recourse regarding insurance or with the airline?

On The Road / Re: Charged for gas at Alamo
« on: February 05, 2019, 12:41:00 PM »
Thank you for your help. I called this morning.  The customer service person said that since it is within 25 days, I need to take it up directly with the Alamo I rented from.  I called them up and they voided the charge without making me send them receipts or credit card statements. BH.  Now I just need to follow up in the next few days to make sure my balance is really 0.

On The Road / Charged for gas at Alamo
« on: February 04, 2019, 10:43:05 PM »
I returned a rental car to Alamo a few weeks ago and today received a letter that I was being charged over 100 dollars for gas.  I filled up shortly before I returned it, but did not save the receipt.  I can show the gas charge on my Costco card on the way to the airport. Has anyone dealt with this before? Iím going to call them tomorrow morning. Iíd like to be as prepared as possible.

My guess is, in all likelihood, using physical sim from another carrier will not make someone ineligible.

But, boy, if Google wanted a way to wriggle out of these obligations, this is where they'd start. Not sure it's worth $1000 to figure out...

Iím sure itís ok to do.  Iím afraid to risk it. I can wait the four months. Iím an apple guy but Iím liking the phone. It would be very nice to try it with my real phone number.

I got a total different email.  I was told ďDonít even try it!Ē

Thanks for contacting Google Fi support!

I request you to please do not insert the T-Mobile SIM card in your device as it will deactivate the eSIM on your device while switching to physical SIM. If the eSIM gets deactivated then you'll not be eligible for the promo.

I'd suggest you to please wait until you receive the credits on your account. Once you receive the credits, you can switch to your T-Mobile SIM with Google Fi.

I appreciate your understanding.

If you have any queries, please feel free to reply back to the same email. We will be available 24/7.

Thanks,

Sara

I was told that all it looks like to them is the phone being off, it's not considered paused or cancelled and it won't effect my promotion eligibility. I got it in writing...

I emailed them but have not received a clear response back. I tried calling but the wait was very long.

I guess I will keep it as is for a few months. It makes a nice camera.

Did anyone get through to Fi and find out if we could keep Fi active with the eSim but put in a SIM from T-Mobile without forfeiting the travel credit?

I emailed them this question and was told no. I'll probably do it, but YMMV. Based on the terms alone I'd be concerned within the first 60 days...

If you can't.  Is there a way to forward an existing number to that phone from at-mobike account.  I don't want to give up the T-Mobile plan or number.  I set up for with my GV number.

Did anyone get their code? Mine still says shipping and the code does not seem to be printed in any of the emails or order details.

The oven hot delivered!! It's beautiful!!! Which warranty did you go with? Home Depot offered me one for 125 that covers for 5 years. But I wasn't sure what else is out there.

Six Flags has a very unclear website. Does anyone know the answer to this. This summer I purchased three memberships (that u need to keep for 1 year at leasts) and 5 upgrades to a season pass (which only lasts until the end of 2017) Is there a way I can upgrade the season passes to become memberships on this Flash Sale (It looks like you can from the website, but its not letting me do it. It says I need a code that it won't give me.)? I assume if I upgrade to membership then I am double paying until december. Secondly, can I upgrade my three memberships to the cheaper price which is a higher level gold ticket?
