Too bad. No reason for it to not go bankrupt and get rid of the unions. But this is Israel. Who am I kidding?

A Dr. in Monsey told me yesterday that there have been some recent covid cases locally. The ones in KJ imported it from Florida and the ones in Monsey didn't travel anywhere. None of the cases were serious.

Selective enforcement and selective lockdowns breed distrust. The government is to blame.

People should get tested privately.

The nature is that our herd immunity is effective, even if the surrounding area isn't as immune.
In places where the virus tends to spread, we're mostly with the same type of people of the herd. Shul, simchos, tons of workplaces, restaurants etc.

Herd immunity is about that it would be very difficult to spread locally in a more than localized manner.
Obviously, a person with no antibodies traveling to Florida is just like any Floridian. Why would he be different. Nothing here is contradictory to what most people are saying.

Prices are uniformly expensive in Monsey. This will bring a price war. Good. Evergreen and RK owners are fabulously wealthy and can absorb the hit from competition bh.
People in Monsey travel to Costco and target as is. This will be another stop in the area, besides that with cheap enough pricing everyone will get there.

Ouch. This article makes them look much worse.
Literal definition of twisting oneself into a pretzel.

Also, the resistance of the scientific community to call what is clearly herd immunity by its name, is mind boggling. They have a mindset agenda.
There is no way to explain zero heimishe infections, despite being completely open for at least a month now at full capacity.

What I'm trying to understand.

Why are they even talking about a second wave in the winter? With flu you can see it coming already now and they get working on a vaccine, based on the flu in the southern hemisphere winter.
Why specifically winter, if they fear an eventual new strain? It's not like anywhere in the world has seen a confirmed new strain until now.
Also, if they are afraid about immunity wearing off before the fall arrives again, why aren't we seeing confirmed reinfections in SE Asia, where this has been around now for a half year? If it wears off after any period, we should have warning.

There will be days that the president won't be in every conversation.
