DP: purchased United Economy plus seating, but selected the airline after the purchase, while it was still pending, and got my credit.

Does United refund economy plus seats when canceled within 24 hours?

I was wondering that too. But I think if itís within 1 day, it should be fine

You are right.

I purchased delta comfort to trigger airline credit, then when i called to cancel my flight the agent said seats aren't refundable When i asked since when is this policy in place he wouldn't answer me. Bur turns out, besides for being arrogant and weird, he was thankfully clueless, bc a day later i was credit for the ticket as well as the extra charge for the comfort seat.

wrong. They received 5 PPD (or 6 for plat 75) and again it has nothing to do with using your card. Anyone got 2 SPG per dollar spent at SPG hotels prior to the merger and you now get 6 Marriott points per dollar so that is the same.
I'm speaking from experience. its normally 2 points per dollar at starwood properties. but Platinum received an additional point.

elite points have nothing to do with CC

prior to the merger platinum members using the SPG card at an SPG properties received 3 points per dollar.

I've been trying to figure out for a while. It says clearly that spending your Amex SPG card at SPG/Marriott properties will get you 2 points per dollar spent. My question is, will elites be rewarded more through their cc?

I know, previously, prior to the merger,  platinum members would get 3 points per dollar.

Did 14 AA GC a few weeks ago.
Got credit for all by Amex.

Today I see AA canceled all GC and issued me a refund.

Now waiting to see if Amex will retract Airline credit.

Did Amex eventually retract the credit?

I emailed them a few days ago. They just responded that they received my claim as well as the w9 I submitted online but they donít yet have a  definite date to distribute checks for those who  needed to fill out a W9.

When booking a mileage ticket directly with united you have 24 hours to cancel for a full refund. How does it work when booking a mileage ticket with Lufthansa's Miles on a United flight, do we get the same 24 courtesy period?

I got f/r in April of 2008, failed to send them my documents and was consequently shut down. Ever since then, any time I applied for an Amex card I would hit a dead end bc they kept on asking for those docs and I would not supply them with any.

Just in March I applied for the Amex Business Gold charge card and to my surprise I was accepted without any issues. Not sure if the reason they didn't ask me for any tax papers this time was bc somehow it fell off their records or because perhaps being that this was for a Business card it was on a different file.

I would like to apply now for the SPG card. Question is, will doing so, risk getting f/rd and (if not complying) cause me to lose the Gold card I already have, or perhaps if I apply for the SPG Business card they probably wont f/r me just as they didn't f/r me the last time?
