What about Casablanca?
Skip it. Has nothing over the others except maybe shabbos.

I agree there's what to be said for paying for the transportation, but in this case, you're spending so much unneeded time in transit.
Once again, disregard the destination. That's not the main point of cruises usually.

It's interesting, as speaking as someone who has not been on a cruise, I genuinely don't see the appeal of a cruise when it's possible to just fly to a destination, and enjoy a hotel and actually being somewhere.

I don't get all of these 3 day cruises to the Bahamas, when the majority of time is spent in transit.

Obviously, Antarctica is an exception as flying is impractical.
On many cruises the appeal isn't the destination rather the journey. Same with premium cabins and some individuals here.
Cruises can be one of the most cost efficient ways to vacation. You get unlimited amounts of 5* food, a room to sleep in, daily entertainment, and a boat full of activities. That's without even stepping foot onto an excursion.
All for less than the price of a high end hotel.

Just Shmooze / Re: Why Do Lubavtichers Wear Their Shirts Untucked?

Now that more and more people are wearing shirts untucked and growing a beard you've got a real problem!
Nope. There is room for all to sin.
(Although my comment was on your post about not caring about appearance, not necessarily shirt and beard.)

Same reason we have crushed hats, we don't spend time worrying about appearances ;)
Too bad that halacha worries about it.

Is there any brand crockpot that lasts more than a year?
They aren't made very well but I imagine the care has what to do with it. Mine lasted 5 years.

I'm thinking of the Domes of Elounda. Can anyone who's been there help me with the basics?
Which airport do I fly to? Getting to the hotel?
Thanks,
I've been there. Fly into HER and rent a car.

Maybe bring over an engraved dish with their last name on it? Or embroidered hand towels?
No longer there. Need something that will be delivered. I'll look into it though.

Oh, you meant Wealthy with a capital "W".

Nevermind then...
Was kidding. Though I don't think cookbook would be the right thing in this exact situation.

A really great cookbook that you can personally recommend, if you think that would be appreciated?

Not one that they'd buy on their own though...
Their chef probably doesn't use cookbooks . :)

Need ideas for a present for someone that hosted me. Up to roughly the $150 range. Don't really want to send classic flowers or candy platter.
Wealthy family if that makes a difference.
