Anybody go to Cyprus in the past few years

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I have. Nothing that it provided me over over Israel and I don't intend to be back.

Iíve been to red heifer twice this year, both times very happy (my pocket not so much). Iíve been by skyline 3 times & havenít had a good experience yet.
I haven't been back to Red Heifer this year but based on all previous experiences Skyline is my top restaurant pick here and Red Heifer is the bottom of my list.

Anyone else not able to open threads in Tapa? Every thread I open gives me the same result as if it were deleted.
Same. Shows all lists of threads as empty.

you could have just said no
They have a second floor that overlooks plus there is a path that passes in front.

do you know if the pools are actually private?
if you would eat the food there then the pools are private enough, is that a good enough answer? :)

Shameful is all I could say.
Shameful on whom?
On the passenger for not feeling well?
On Elal who isn't responsible for your shabbos observance and who acted like a business?
On the passengers who decided to risk it against what everyone with common sense says not to do and ended up on the wrong side of the gamble?
On Chabad for not turning a lounge into a makeshift hotel for said people who took a risk?
On people who come to a forum basically dedicated to chatting and opining and then do exactly that?
It's not clear to me which one is supposed to be the shameful one.

Does anyone have any good kosher food cruise recommendations for the gambling addicts amongst us?
Not really gonna happen besides for Mano.

Deals/Deal Requests / Re: Where can I get it? (Israel edition)

I know this isn't what you asked for, but would a truck like this help? I once saw someone using it to get furniture up to their 3rd floor apt in Israel. They look pretty light-duty and probably don't cost a fortune to hire for an hour....If you want a # for one I can try to get one.
If it's not something that's too big to fit through the door, it's probably cheaper to hire day laborers to carry it all up for you by hand.

The CC game is for those who have discipline.

If one does not have discipline, he/she/they should probably cut up all CC's and switch to debit/cash. I don't see a middle ground.

The warranties/points/etc are not worth the debt/interest you'll accrue.
Those with a lack of discipline in spending on CC usually also have a lack of discipline in regards to not using it to begin with.

Up In The Air / Re: KSML (Kosher Airline Meals) Master Thread

Well if its served frozen or is a Stogel cat food meal then how can a Rabbi even supervise such a tasteless meal and offer the Proper Kosher Certification?  If its all about the money and the quality suffers well then whats the point of a Kosher meal?
There happens to be cat food with a kosher certification. Kashrus agencies aren't quality control or taste testers. At least not the Orthodox ones. There are other kosher certifications that actually do similar to that although those that hold of them also hold of no certification at all.
The point of a kosher meal is precisely that, kosher.
