i got plenty in my account. if you want to give me an example date and flight, I got no problem checking for you what the fees would be

Wow thank you very much for the offer.  I ended up booking with UA instead and will use TYP for something else.  Thanks again!

Answered my own question.  Looks like there's no way to do it on Qantas' site unless you have the required miles.  Otherwise use ITA to find the YQ:

Carrier-imposed surcharge (YQ)
€269.00

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi,
I was intrigued with the Qantas mile transfer bonus from Citi TYP.  Looking to fly between US and Europe this spring.  Before transferring, I was checking to see how much taxes/fees/fuel surcharges would be on an award tickets operated by BA and AA.  I have 0 miles in my account today.  The furthest I can get on qantas.com is to select the flight, view the required amount of points, then I get this:

Please review the following items

You don’t have enough points. Here’s some options:
• Borrow points via family transfersThis will open a new tab or window in your browser. or use top up pointsThis will open a new tab or window in your browser. to purchase the points you need.
• Use a mix of points and cash to book a flight via Points Plus Pay - Flights, simply search hereThis will open a new tab or window in your browser. and select “Points, money or both”. Min 5,000 points required.
• Find another destination within your balance via the find flights link below. Need inspiration? Get it via our interactive flight search map hereThis will open a new tab or window in your browser..
Am I missing something?  Is there a way to get that info without transferring over the required miles OR without calling Qantas?

Are the figures in the wiki for UR/MR/MT up to date?  I'm getting quotes from brokers that are way under these rates for larger accounts.

350k UR
75k MR
1 million MT

Amex will take about 2 months to report. So apply during that time.

I won't be eligible for a UR-earning card bonus for about 4 months.

Credit Cards / Un-do a new AMEX credit card application?
« on: April 23, 2018, 03:13:50 PM »
Hi Everyone,
I saw Dan's post last week about the SPG cards losing their new card member 25k bonus.  I applied several hours before the supposed 11:59pm deadline and was excited to get approved.  The problem is that I signed up for the wrong SPG card; I meant to apply for the business card.  This would be by 5th card in 24 months and that will likely keep me from getting approved for any new Chase UR-earning cards for 8 or 9 months.  I don't want this card any more.  Is it possible to cancel this card and not have it reported to the bureaus?  Yeah, my mistake, I know, I just might have to deal with it for the next 9 months.

+1 seems so. Chases site is listing it at $450

Just called Chase, appears to be a mistake on their end.  They verified the fee on my account will be $450.

Is that specific to you? It's possible it is including the cost for an AU.

I don't think so.  I don't have any AUs on my account.

Anyone else notice that the annual fee on this card increased to $525?
