Many news sites reported it. .gov site is just listing what the original estimate was. But of course make calls and verify before going that route.

I'll be doing the drive from sfo down to la end of the summer as well. What rates did you get with Enterprise? I got National for about $30/day and should be able to get a nice car with executive aisle.

$30 a day is amazing!! How'd you get that?

I will be going in beginning of August to SFO and driving down to LA over four days, itinerary is drafted and would appreciate any help with booking or suggesting hotels and rental cars.

August 5th 2018 - arrive at sfo, need to pickup minivan or large SUV which I will return at LAX on the 22nd
Hotel #1 night Aug 5-6 - Ritz-Carlton half Moon Bay, booked
Hotel #2 night Aug 6-7 - Intercontinental the Clement, monterey, not booked
Hotel #3 night Aug 7-8 - the Inn at the pier, Pismo Beach, not booked
Hotel #4 night Aug 8-9 - Ritz Carlton bacara, Santa Barbara, not booked
We will be staying from the 9th till the 22nd St a relative in la
If anyone can help me with other suggestions, activities for my kids etc that would be amazing. I also haven't figured how in will have good food the trip as I am coming from Canada and can't bring meat or dairy through customs.

I need a car from the 13th to the 16th in BWI. National is around $300 bit hertz is starting at $70. I'm 5 star and will be using my USAA discount, but are there any other discounts I can use as well? What is the lowest class car I can book and still choose from the 5 star aisle?
