It's interesting that PCGS looks at postmarks while NGC uses reception date for their respective first strike and first release designations. For NGC, you might need to spend extra on postage to meet the Monday, 12/7 deadline.

When processing my payment it always declines the cc, I tried with multiple Canadian cards

Have you discussed it with the NY EZPass folks or your bank/issuer? The authorities running the international bridges appear to be part of the NY Service Center, so Canadian credit cards are probably common.

    Using a family members car which has Candian plates, Curios if anyone had ever added a candian plate to their Ez-Pass account?

When I try to add a new vehicle to my NY account, I can select "CAN" as a country and then choose a province.

Does anyone know if the carpool discount is applied if it's on the account or how to have it added when going to through cashless tolls. Ie by the Goethals bridge from NJ to Staten island? Tia

To use the Port Authority Carpool Plan (PACP), it must be on the account when you go through a staffed "Cash/E-ZPass" lane. If you go through an automated "EZ-Pass Only" lane or a cashless-tolling bridge, you pay the regular rates no matter what.

The Goethals still has staffed lanes, so the PACP can work there if you follow the rules. But it will NOT work on the Bayonne Bridge, which has been all-cashless since February 2017.

One final caveat: the PACP is only available to NY- or NJ-issued E-ZPass tags.

The wiki is encouraging you to get a transponder issued by a New York State agency because they -- unlike the PANYNJ -- aren't allowed to charge the $1 monthly fee. Otherwise, the PANYNJ transponder is a "New York" one and therefore eligible for MTA discounts on their bridges and tunnels.

JAL is supposedly the most accurate program for searching CX. Unless you are close in.

My experience has been that JL is the most accurate for AA redemptions, followed by BA.

It's hard to trust QF when it reports seats are available but the same seats are WAITLISTED in CX's own tool.

Is the card necessary or is it enough if it shows up on the boarding pass?

Some people have had success by presenting a Blue card and the printout from the A3 Web site showing Gold stats. It's obviously YMMV.

ITA shows a DFW-TLV r/t via PHL on an all-Q fare with very reasonable connections for $1735; the itinerary with the N fare in it costs only $50 less. You can force usairways.com to book the all-Q fare by using Hipmunk and some Web magic.

But you have a bigger problem: US is leaving Star on 3/30 and entering OW on 3/31, so don't count on crediting the final PHL-DFW leg to A3.

Anyone else try converting in the past couple days?

Just got off the phone with a rep who processed my conversion after checking "if it was available." He mentioned that the old Visa and new MC stay tied to together for 30-60 days to facilitate changing recurring payments.

Other thing of note: He told me that Chase is adding an EMV chip  to the CSP "by the end of the year."
