Plan to take a taxi over the Allenby bridge
I looked that up, it seems like 5 hours of travel, lots of headache and around 600$ for 2 people.. CMIIW?

What date are you traveling?

Here's what it looks like (on GF) when trying to book a one way flight from BKK-TLV on RJ over that clock change mentioned.

Those flights don't exist after time change .. after March 31...

ETA: they depart at slightly different times at end of April...

What date are you traveling?
Our ticket is issued leaving April 22nd at 12:30 am, and arriving to AMM 635AM.

AA just called, essentially nicely requesting us to pick another flight.. b.C. Connection is 25 minutes long , and according to to rep "well be denied boarding in BKK, by RJ"...  all the other options include 12hr layovers in Amman.... I even wanted to stay the night in the airport and fly 23rd in the morning flight, but it would be 24hrs and 10 min so qualifies as a stop over....

BUMP. anyone?

Can AA cancel our ticket and re-issue us the miles? Is that legally allowed? I don't know if I should start booking other parts of my vacation yet...

I know there's a million threads relevant threads, but I think this is time sensitive so hopefully someone can help...

We just booked an award flight on RJ from BKK-TLV , which essentially was supposed to land at 6AM, but because of the time change happening in Jordan on March 31, is now going to land at 7AM. The booked connecting flight out of AMM leaves at 735AM, which is not technically enough time to issue a ticket. American's website didn't have the times right on the website (still don't - took a screenshot). but the actually e-mail with the ticket info says arrival 7AM and departure 735AM. I already checked AA/RJ for later flights, but nothing for award booking... and if you go to RJ to purchase a flight , the iternary we booked is not even suggested, instead the flight out of amman at 10PM is suggested...

What should I do? I started looking at other OW options, but nothing else seems to result in not waiting a million hours at the airport... should I alert AA to this error? If i do maybe I will loose out on the possibility for AA to guarantee us to get home (which right now under regular circumstances .. there are not other flights... the 10PM AMM-TLV flight doesnt have award space)..

TIA for any advice/tips!!!!!

also wondering... can I book a hotel + flight or just a hotel redemption for another person? or does it need to be in the account holders name? not for a spouse. TIA!

Cool. That's what I assumed, but wanted to confirm. How do you know for sure?

Canceled my wife's like this because we got the PRG card at the same time and thought that it would be better for us as an everyday card. She was targeted for the 100k plat (first amex card) and now her points have been frozen for the last 8 weeks...
I downgraded an AU my bus plat account to green card b.c. I thought adding AU was free (must have missed the fine print)... Will the spending put on the au card still count towards 15k threshold?

Also I wonder if calling to change statement date would make it happen faster? Any experiences on this?

If you call, they'll usually do it during the call, if you do it online, it'll take 24-48 hours iirc.
Cool thanks.. that's what I was looking for. So if I already did it online can I call and have them do it manually?

And it went into effect immediately?
Mine was done during the call.

Yeah, the same thing happened with my wife, minus the stumbling. Once she said she wasn't responsible for the AU cards she got approved.
Yup, he was approved :)
