Any recent experience at the Park Plaza Orchid in TA?
I have one Thursday night planned there in October, with the next two nights (Fri/Sat) planned for the Sheraton TA.
However, the Orchid manager has been so responsive by email (see quoted text below) that I'm contemplating spending all three nights there. I would have to buy a few ClubCarlson points, but might be worth it. Thoughts?
--How near shuls, or maybe there's davening for Shabbat in the Hotel?
--Other advice?

i made a mistake on the last name an infants ticket from mia-yul on AA?Any way to get around it?

If it's a typo you should be able to call them and get them to adjust it.

Any experience with bassinets on UA J on:

16 row PS 752 (Seatguru says row 1 and 5, agent says none)
764 (UA.com says yes agent says none)

Are the bassinets stored onboard and provided you're in the right seat you get it? Or do they have to bring them on? Because then it could get tricky if the agents aren't ordering them.

Thanks for update!

Was it ticketed? By me one time they did it and it was a reservation only and had to pay in airport
Apparently the executive line sends it to a specific desk for ticketing so it takes longer to process, but the payment went through already.

I just called the United call back and they did it.

MAKE sure he is on ALL legs of the flight

I called the UA callback line multiple times- they were insisting they couldn't do it because our tickets were on SQ stock so they couldn't touch the ticket. SQ was telling them they don't need to touch the ticket but to make a commercial booking and link it to our reservation (they couldn't do it because they didn't "have" the LAX-EWR fares available to them).
In short, a huge headache. Even the  UA executive line didn't want to do it at first. I had to convince them to include the LX segment onto the ticket.

Update for any interested- I conferenced in an SQ agent when calling the UA callback line so they could hash it out on their own. Ended up getting transferred to the executive line to get the lap child ticket issued (took forever though). So it can be done.

Had that in the past, and paid at the end @ the airport 10% of full fare which was like $400

I need to do it in advance or they won't let me reserve a bassinet. Also waiting to do it at the airport is not ideal for peace of mind, the rate could end up being way more than $400 and not enough time to really get it changed.

Booked SQ award in J:

LAX-EWR-ZRH-TLV (all on UA except ZRH-TLV on LX).

SQ are saying they're unable to add a lap infant even after multiple HUCAs- they want UA to do it.
UA says they can't because ticket is on SQ stock.

Now SQ is saying I need to book on UA for their legs and LX for theirs- which is ridiculous not to mention outrageously expensive.

Any advice how to proceed? Been back and forth with both airlines for hours.

TK rep is telling me that bassinet seats can go in any row of the J cabin- not just bulkhead. Anyone have experience with this?
I don't want to get on the plane and find out that the bassinet can't go in our row (bulkhead is currently only available in 3 across middle row which I'm trying to avoid).

Possibility phantom, check ANA.

You're right- it isn't showing up on ANA.

SQ agent is telling me that they receive a different amount of OS award space than UA does (i.e. less). Found I class seats on UA.com and she says they don't have it. Any truth to this or HUCA?
