Just had a 6 hour layover in Milan on my way to JFK. Bought into a lounge for about $40.

LCC? What was your fare?

Not sure...I bought a ticket from TLV-JFK with a stop and this was the first leg.

REPOSTING from another thread: I know T-Mobile has a $2 a day plan with 2G web. Any others out there that only charge when the sim is activated? I need it when I fly back from TLV and am in town for a month or so each time.

there is a deal out there of $40 a week unlimited to rent  or for $90 you buy a phone with 1 month included or if you have a old verizon phone it might work and then you buy a month for $40 ,not 100% sure but its something in this range .

I already have an unlocked phone, just looking for a per day sim.

Up In The Air / BA Avios vs. AA Miles? Which to use?
« on: August 12, 2013, 03:45:19 PM »
Hi everyone-

I am wondering whether it is better for me to accumulate miles in BA or AA for travel on all the oneworld airlines. I know that the Star Alliance is the best program but the oneworld usually has better fares to/from TLV. Should I build up miles on BA or AA when flying on oneworld partners? What are the advantages/disadvantages of either one. Don't only look at it from the perspective of flying to Israel, also which is better to fly domestically in the US once I earn enough miles.
(I just flew from TLV through Milan and used my AA number and have a flight reserved to fly back to TLV through London with BA and then LY from LHR-TLV.)

thanks
