People sell fake shoes on ebay also.

you are right, but i think that shoes are a lot harder to fake.(shirts and pants are a lot easier just put on a fake label and only a discerning customer will be able to tell its not the right quality). i have bought a couple of pairs of shoes on ebay and b"h so far i did not have any problems.

is there a site where i can lookup all the ##....# functions?

Well, if you deposit over $10,000 in cash to a bank it gets reported to the IRS and to the department of homeland security...
But I guess I just wanted to make sure that the whole thing works before plowing in $9,500 into it.

On 2nd thought though, I think I'll go ahead and invest $5,000 into this.

is that when you deposit $10,000 at once or it works per day/month/year?

Up In The Air / best way to get bumped
« on: June 11, 2008, 11:07:53 AM »
what is the best way to be able to get bumped? is it best to come first or come last? where are you supposed to make the request by check in or by the gate? is it harder if you are traveling with luggage? the last time i tried the gate agent told me that since i had been already assigned a seat on the first leg of my journey i was not first priorty to get bumped, she was going to bump some of those who were
not given a seat yet.
please share your experiences with the different air lines and how you did it.

General Discussion / ebay fakes

please share from experience things to look out for when buying with ebay and/or story's of how you got burned with ebay fakes. i know there are ebay guides on spotting fakes but they are not always so useful so its good to what others have experienced to know what to stay away from.

thank you!

General Discussion / mens clothing stores in ny

please share with us your best places in ny to buy some nice clothes/shoes for great prices.

the only one that i know about is centry 21 for quality clothes but the prices are good not amazing
for shoes once you know your size with a given company i think the best way to go is ebay you got to keep on looking and you will find something. (i am a lot more apprehensive with clothes on ebay as many are fake (see all the ebay guides on spotting fakes) but with shoes as long as you know your size with that company(size varies from company to company) i think you are fine.

Credit Cards / Re: Churning Methods
« on: June 04, 2008, 02:56:38 AM »
hey guys quick question here, if you churn a card and then combine the credit line from the older one to have another year fee free, don't you lose out on your credit score? because part of your score is length of history?

so are you shortening history by churning and then combining?

i am asking because i have a horrible chase visa that i do not use which i want to combine with a new chase freedom card which seems to be the best one offered, but this visa that i have is my oldest credit card, so will i lose out? or does it not matter?

i hope this was clear enough, any answers are obviously most appreciated!!

i think that as long as you keep your oldest card it's fine, so when you start out get a free card and combine all the other ones with that one

I'm not sure there is a card that exists that I haven't churned...

dan, from your experience what is the maximum amount of cards that they let you open in one month? (how many from every bank)

chabad corp for dollar is CL1111.

if anyone knows the Morristown yeshiva enterprise corporate please post (i heard they are sometimes better then chabad enterprise corporate)
