No private pools but cancun might be the happy medium between Miami and places without food.

The beach in Miami in not good imo and the weather is too unpredictable in the winter to be able to count on. Cancun in January wasn't hot when we went, but  it was in the 70s in cancun the same weekend that had 50s in miami.
Happy medium aside from the murders :P

Any Chabad with a minyan during the week or Shabbos in Barcelona?
Not that I could find. In 2014 there was 1 Chabad guy who was the Mashgiach at Maccabi and I believe there was a separate Chabad Rav that provided the Hechsher there, but I couldn't find a Chabad Minyan.

Was in BCN for less than 24 hours this week.

Lunch at Shaq Shuq which I was a bit disappointed with. Dinner at Ilan's Burger which was excellent.#

Unfortunately the shul in the Call was closed due to Labour Day.
Didn't go to Maccabi?? Haven't heard of Ilan's - glad to hear there are new options.

Any recommendations for a hotel using points within walking distance to a shul in Barcelona on Shabbos?  I would prefer using Bonvoy points.
There's only 1 active Shul - Comunidad Israelita de Barcelona and it barely had a Minyan during the week. I'd first check that they have a Minyan on Shabbos before planning my stay around it.

Which Marriott hotel is best to book? Keeping in mind, I'm hoping to utilize Suite Night Awards.
Marriott Wailea

U referring to The Liming Bequia?

"Gingerlily Villa available on Self Catering basis between 1st May 31st October 2019 at a weekly rate of USD 8400
Please note that The Liming Hotel will be closed at this time."

Try any other date
That explains it. Thanks. Although I am getting a little sick of traveling to places without Kosher food. Miami is just sooo much easier.

There are much cheaper ones available in the Caribbean.

Every spring I purchase whatever daily pill brand is cheapest. This year happened to be Zyrtec and the 30 day supply was cheaper at my store than all the other brands even the generics. Go figure. Sneezing and runny nose for first hour of the day, then I'm mostly fine.

I dont see one.
Can you post it
Sorry, I could have sworn it was there. Must have been a different city thread.

yes i was there, very nice don't think its as big as STR but they have nice pools decent bars and the rooms are very good big spacious etc..
Thank you! Half the price of SR is nice too.

Thank you! Have you been? Pics seem nice.

Is there anywhere nice to stay in Bal Harbour besides for SR and Ritz (non points is okay)?

Is there anywhere I can find a map with all the kosher restaurants in miami beach (like the one that LA has)?
Makes trip planning so much easier

(wish would have that option, would make his blog useful to a lot more people)
Wiki has a link. Not sure if it's updated.

I think we are going to rent a car in Florence so we can drive to the winery in Tuscany and then return it in Rome. How hard is it to find parking in Rome for one night? We will be staying close to the Jewish Ghetto.
I assume you'll need to go into a lot.

I've heard Rabica has stepped up recently. I don't really go out for dairy in Teaneck except for causal at Sammy's but I would much sooner try Rabica than MB.
Thanks, will try that next time!

ok good to know, do you think Murano/Burano is possible to do on a Friday afternoon from 2:30-6:30? We are staying at the Carnival Palace so I am not sure how long it takes to get there from the water bus stop.
Yes, and worst case you only do one and see it's getting late so you come back. You can use gmaps to estimate walking times.
