Credit Cards / Re: A New Era For Citi Thank You Points

^ You're just showcasing your inability to follow a conversation.
^ This is the reason many people stay away from the forums and why I only recently dared to venture into this nasty unfriendly territory. A comment on a flaw in the forum does not need to turn into an argument nor should it result in insults against me.

Hamas claims to have captured an IDF solider, IDF looking into it.

10 seriously injured just now after mortar was shot from gaza to israel (in the past those near the border are usually soldiers)

Possible infiltration near the border going on now.

Except it didn't.

It's called evolution of conversation.

The whole topic of conversation was why TYP did not add AA as a partner. Shockingly, answering that question requires certain words that may not be "Thank" "You" "Points" or "Citi."

A new era: Now you can transfer points to partners

Quote from YWN "Based on experience from previous warfare in Gaza, there we be a sharp increase in births in nine months from now G-d willing"
Weird thing to write.....
It happens by every war, young soldiers want to ensure their family lives on just in case something happens to them in battle r"l.

My 1yr DDF anniversary = 58 CCs, 2.8mil points, 6 new destinations, average credit score went up 6 points, my family thinks I'm the next Dan (HAHA  ;D ) & still feel like a noob!
A big thank you to Dan, my fellow DDFers, all those CC companies with awesome promos, Rite Aid, Amazon Payments, EHD, PGGM, and of course my Eishes Chayil (about a third of the cc and points are hers ;) )

To another amazing year!!
Nice!! You made 30 grand or more of points just off cc signups?

I like how the "Citi TYP" thread has turned into an amex thread, this is why many people have a hard time navigating between the real info and the chatter

97% of Americans have never heard of a Sapphire Preferred card (and 98% of stats are made up on the spot) but they do know that in the airport they can earn 25K miles by signing up for an airline card and get free bags.
And they keep using that card.
Chase has been heavily marketing the Sapphire Preferred card on all form of media, I would guess that more americans heard of Sapphire Preferred than they did of Starwood or many other cards

If I hear one more time the excuse "Where do the innocent Palestinians have to go, Gaza is the most dense place on earth!" I will get very nervous.

Let's make a simple calculation:

-Gaza has (supposedly) 1.8 million people

-Gaza is 139 square miles, this amounts to 139 x 5280 x 5280 = 3,822,255,360 square feet.

-3822255360/1,800,000= 2123.5.

Hence, each palestinian in gaza has 2123.5 square feet for himself, or 46 x 46 feet.

There is plenty of room for them to hide from the so called "Israeli shelling."

And this does not take into account that over 50 percent of the population are under 14 and do not require their own living space.

not sure n00b is a nice/respectful way to address ppl.. especially if the intention is to help them... Seems stuck up to me...
There is a great debate in the internets if n00b/noob is offensive or not. The ideal title would be "Beginner".

A true "n00b" would not even know what a "n00b" is, it is sort of pointless to use the possibly offensive language since most beginners will not even know that it is directed at them.

5 Soldiers were killed by Hamas that came via a tunnel, the IDF is still searching for the terrorists to be sure they did not get through. 1 Terrorist was killed so far.
