Has anybody used Loyal3 before?  I wanted to get info from other people's experiences with them.  I dabble a bit, but I'm still an amateur at this.  My cousin is an analyst for a firm that exclusively uses Schwab for trades, so I've only been using Schwab.  I get some knowledge from him from time to time, but I'd like to check out other firms as well, just in case.

So Sunday afternoon/evening.. We planning anything?
I was waiting on you.  haha  For all others, I need to know by tomorrow, but preferably today, because of the 5-day advanced notice for kosher options (also assuming that Sunday afternoon/night is not completely booked).  Last I spoke to a rep, they were still ok, but that was a few days ago.  My wife and I are for sure, if Sunday is a go.  Since I will be putting the reservation on my card, we need to make sure that we have a definite number.  Please no last minute back-outs.  I get charged full price for any no shows.  Also, please follow dress code, and note the pricing.  I don't know the pricing or choices for kosher meals as of yet, since the rep hasn't called me back, but I'd say with valet, door fee, and food/drinks, it would be roughly $75-100 per person or more if you want to splurge on drinks.   This place is not for everyone, as I've taken many here who were not as impressed, but if you like/love the exclusivity factor, MAGIC (of course), and seeing random celebrities and "money bags" hanging around, then it's totally worth experiencing even just once.

You can try, but I doubt that will work. In theory it should work as the issue is that the motherboard is confused. So if that does work then you're good. Otherwise just continue to use it with the battery left out.
It's fine now. Hope it isn't continuous.

Ok now it's working. What's the next step? Should I turn off, unplug, then attach the battery again?

Man some of the people on FT are super cynical; a few helpful. I sent the same exact comment on their site, and a couple said not to go if I'm going to penny pinch or to just go elsewhere because I'm not the type. What the? it's not like I can't afford it. Just being smart and stretching out my hard earned (and much easier earned) $$$. FYI C&P isn't available.

Ok but even if it does start working this way, don't you think it'd be better to just get a replacement so I don't have to deal with the inconvenience of doing this everytime? Is the issue with just this model or certain Toshibas?

I went with the Toshiba (  C55-B5362, Intel Core i3, 4GB RAM, 500GB Hard drive ) for $279.99 after rebate.

Got this last month along with a lot of others when it was going for $273 AR. Just broke early this morning. Even plugged in, the power button would light up for a few seconds and turn off. No sounds; nothing on screen. Any quick fix or reboot that I need to do? Anybody else experience this and who do I contact for replacement: Staples, Toshiba? TIA

Will be in Maldives mid-Feb, and we will be staying at Park Hyatt on points.  Booking now before devaluation.  We will be there for 3-4 days.  Is this enough time to enjoy?  Also, what am I looking at in $$ damage besides the $510 pax from Male to hotel?  I hear that I should expect to pay $100-150 per person per day???  That's outrageous!  Is there no grocery store there?  haha  Also, is it best to do all points or points and cash?  TIA  Will be reading TRs but want to get info from all others who have experienced this amazing place.

Also, picture taking is not allowed inside the castle aside from the entry room and gift shop, but there is a photographer who will take your photos (4 shots) inside, and if purchased for $21, you also get a pass for up to 8 people on applicable days emailed to you after 7 days from purchase  I believe good for 1 year. Good enough deal! Or you could just come along with us when you're in LA.

Will this work for anyone?
I need to know how many people for sure once a date is figured out. Reservations may fill up so need to know ASAP. Putting reservation on my card. 24 hour cancellation policy. Please read dress code, pricing, and other rules and regulations on They're very strict. I hear they've kicked out celebrities for not complying. Who knows though. Kosher available from outside sources with 5 day notice. Don't have the prices for those, but I'm awaiting a call back from manager in charge of this option. It is mandatory to pay for entree, door fee (with pass), and valet if not getting dropped off per R&R. PM me with questions.

Of course! I wouldn't ask if I didn't.  ;) Was just there on the 30th. Magicians are a hit or miss each week (almost always different every week), but that was definitely an amazing night out of all the times I've been there. Once Chaim is here, and before I leave for volunteer work in the Philippines end of this month, let's go!
