אל תפתח פה.

Redeemed, not for maximum value, but definitely for a good value. My only fear is that one of the tickets I bought is dated earlier than actual redemption flight.
Hmm. Wonder if they would just claw back 9,000 per flight missed, as it’s missed, or all 90,000 at the first missed flight, or not at all. So many variables.

Have there been any reports of IB revoking award tickets made with the 90K?

You don't need such a high price to make a profit.
True, curious either way.

Sell?
Wonder what the going rate would be given the short shelf life, and limited availability...

What rate is the redemption?
Will have to check, but not great. Although, I believe it is better for rental cars.

Nice.

Will it be on the A350?

I did JFK-MAD for 25.5k when they had promo, it was a great deal.
How was it? Any noteworthy tips on seat selection, etc?

spoke to a rep who verified that under 18 accounts can still get the points.
How? The earliest birthdate they allow you to create is year 2000, which would make an under 18 account a falsely created account.

i  was able to get into my account by downloading the iberia app and clicking on forgot pin, but my avios is still showing up as 0? do i need to send in proof of identity in order for them to post the points? I did not get this email
I would wait a bit... many people that did not get their points posted yesterday got them today, so it’s likely a tiered process. Many people in the same boat as you.

Just received this from IBERIA:

Dear customer,

Thank you for your interest in the Iberia Plus programme.

It is a standard requirement of our programme to check the registration details for your Iberia Plus account. To help us do this, please email a copy of the official identity document you used for registration to clasica@iberia.es. The subject line of the email must include your Iberia Plus number in order for us to process it and you must send it to us by 31 July (GMT+2). If the documentation is not received before this date, we will be unable to register you for the Iberia Plus programme and you will not have access to any of the associated benefits.

If you took part in our recent 9,000 extra Avios promotion for the purchase of tickets at Iberia.com, please attach a copy of any tickets purchased during the period and send it to us by 31 July 2018 in order to collect your Avios.

Once we have verified your identification and proof of ticket purchase we will award the Avios due—as per the campaign terms and conditions—to your account.

Kind regards and we hope to see you on board again soon.

The Iberia Plus team

Nope, A340. Had the option to do the A350, but it would have given me about a 4.5 hour layover. Too short to leave the airport, and long enough to be annoying.
