The main reason I didn't do this, is that I would only be able to fly domestically between now and 12/1, and on relatively specific dates. I don't trust AA to have enough sAAver space available for it to be worth the risk.
You don’t have to fly by 12/1, just have to book by then. With Iberia, you can book for almost a year in advance.

I got all bookings confirmation emails with my IB number in it... so now just lets wait and see... debating if I should do it for my wife as well
All my emails came with the IB number also. But on the recently opened accounts, when I actually when to “manage booking”, the IB number wasn’t there, as opposed to my account that had been opened for months which the IB number WAS there. Hope I’m being clear, sorry if not.

When you go in manage booking all reservation come automatically up, or you need to put in the reservation code and surname?
None come up. You have to manually enter last name & booking code. Take a screenshot of each res as you do it because not all of their email conf’s come in and that’s the only way you’d have to booking ref.

Seeing some data points that accounts have to be open for 48 hours prior to booking for the FF number to attach to the reservation. My reservations were booked when logged in but when I go to “manage booking”, it doesn’t display the FF number. Anyone have any info/ ways to skirt this?
Update: after waiting on hold for about 40 minutes, 2 Iberia reps confirmed to me that even though the FF number isn’t showing (takes 48 hours after account open to fully activate), the 9,000 avios per flight will still post to the account. Phew.

Flying United 77W from TLV-NYC tonight in J. Question: the flight is blocked at 12 hours. Will united give pajamas? They say pajamas are provided on flights *over* 12 hours. Is this flight included?
