Credit Cards / Re: Amexserve/Softcard
« on: November 08, 2015, 06:39:17 PM »
I have multiple serve cards from different family members.  Is it a problem to use the same bank account for withdrawal of funds?

open an AU for them, and then there is no problem transferring to them.
If I'm already making him an AU, can I just send  him AMEX points straight from my account?  Do I have to bother sending it to his ANA freq flier?  Or is it still safer that way?

I'm looking to transfer points from my Amex rewards to someone else's ANA frequent flyer account.  Does anyone have experience with this?  I understood that transferring points between different people is typically not wise, as it may flag my account.  In this case, is it a problem?  Any help would be appreciated.

Still working on the slow intro to MS.  Since Redbird is gone, what are people doing now?  I am looking for strategy that won't raise any red flags.  Can you send me in the right direction?  I have SERVE, and I can always do the paypal option, but I'm afraid of using it too often.

Where do I get gift cards that I can load on red bird? Are they specifically target gift cards? Does any generic visa gift card work?

Thank you. I'd rather learn the gift card/red card path

This discussion is painful to watch. Please just do a slate balance transfer and don't get into credit card debt with stacks of GC's you don't know what to do with, huge credit card bills, and the original credit card debt still there.
that's a pretty fatalistic attitude. I'm not interested in what not to do. I'm looking for what to do. Since we're in the newbie forum, maybe you could throw me a bone and explain how I can pay off my credit card balance with a gift card or red card. No offense intended, but I think your "pain" is slightly over critical

Chase slate, from what I saw, gives 10% apr at best. How could I use MF to carry a balance when I actually have to spend the money?
