And that's why it's impossible to find that level worker for jobs that need to be filled.

repost from employment board:

Wholesale business in Lakewood looking to fill two full time jobs immediately:
1-Truck driver- clean license no CDL
2-Warehouse associate
(This is not an Amazon business.)

There's a story going around social media about the husband of a popular cookbook author who's been living in Israel for a while getting turned back (with an ishur).
Guess that's the same story. I heard it from a family member.

An American citizen who made Aliyah, with Israeli wife and kids waiting in the airport was sent back to US. He had an ishur.

While you might be right in all your points, they are meaningless.

All that matters is that the test comes out positive in relationships to its own reference. And if it came back positive on one, itís likely to come back positive on another.
Not sure which type of test it was, but family member had an Israeli antibody test result of 70, where anything over one is positive. Misrad Habriut did not consider it enough without a positive PCR for machlimim.

THe right ignoring what is actually being proposed and focusing ENTIRELY on the platitudes is almost as ludirous
Disagree; it's ALL about  the "platitudes".  If these educators were solely concerned with actually teaching the material there would be no need for the nonsense. They are using the so-called educational goals to forward their agenda.

I actually went to the site you mentioned and I do see some proposals there. Meanwhile, every proposal I see is actually a great idea and it seems like the racial part of it is nothing more than marketing. It does make it a hard read to figure out what they actually want to be done.
This is a pretty common occurrence. The left makes a proposal and frames some potentially good ideas in a bunch of garbage and nonsense, the right instinctively focuses on the nonsense as if the actual proposal doesn't exist and ignores the actual proposals.

If the left would present their ideas without the nonsense, maybe they would find acceptance. What happens is that the nonsense then becomes a part of the narrative and is bound to the subject forever after. If this proposal, with all the racist and white supremacy language, is accepted by the district as is, it will then be taught as reality in colleges. The fact that it is being presented in the context of math, which is mostly black and white (!), makes it all the more ludicrous. It's not (all) the actual proposals that are insane, it's the premise on which it is being presented that is insane.

What part of math are they saying is racist? @flyingace
Don't have time to find it but I read the proposals and report several weeks ago... I'll try to find it later.

What's scary is that these people really believe it.

I joined after someone told my husband he went to Israel on AMEX points accrued from his business. I think (not 100% sure) Google got me here.

A bocher I know did not pass the antibodies test to be released from quarantine (he got 17 and they needed at least 20), but they let him out after showing a positive test result from June!
Do you know which test he took?

Trip planned for the week beginning Monday the day after 17 Taamuz (6/28).
Shabbos 7/2-7/3 is actually planned for Chabad Flagstaff, who offer full RV hookup.
So, meals & tefilos in Chabad with sleeping in RV.
Hoping to find 2-3 families looking to do a similar itinerary so we can have minyanim Mon-Thu.
Mon - Landing in LAS, Drive to Zion
Tues - Bryce Canyon
Wed - Lake Powell
Thu/Fri - Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend

Then Sun 7/4 (Grand Canyon) & Mon 7/5 (Grand Canyon AM then drive back to LAS to return RV and red-eye flight back to East Coast).
I have to say kaddish and hoping to still salvage this trip vs scrapping it.

If you reschedule to bain hazmanim you are much more likely to get minyanim.
