Credit Cards / Re: The Target Prepaid REDcard
« on: March 18, 2015, 12:09:19 AM »
Went to load today. So, first of all they had to bring the CS Supervisor to do it and he asked for photo ID. Then when I told him to load 250 he says that there's a max of 1000 daily. After some confusion I had to explain that I'm loading only two hundred and fifty dollars at which point he laughs and says "Oh my bad, cuz people are coming in here everyday trying to load $2,500 in one shot."  ;D
monsey is getting annoying with that. When I went to load 500 the manager told me (right before I swiped) "I almost added an extra zero, that would've been good" I just replied "good for you". and he said "no for you" and I said "have a nice day" with a smile and left. I bet it was the same manager

this can be added to your RC for $20 profit on each one, why is everyone talking about selling?

I build up the nerve with one swipe when i buy something at the register, then head to CS to get the 14 additional swipes it takes to complete my 5 cards.
I have a friend that must buy something when he loads up. Hakaras hatov he says

Idk why I feel like a criminal when I put money on the redcard. The guy at the register said "all done, should I swipe it again" while he was still holding the RC and I thought he was telling me that the card doesn't go through. then I just took it and left. You guys that have the balls to stay there and load 5 cards shokyach.

Reading through this WHOLE thread was like watching a soap opera; there's a common problem that could be dealt with and one guy does (or in this case "says") something not normal and in the end everyone understand that his case was an unusual one and they lived happily ever after.
